The first lines of rock climbing’s long history in our country were written on the grey vertical walls of the famous Picu

10 #asturias #adventure Urriellu or Naranjo de Bulnes (Picos de Europa), or “El Picu,” as we like to Rope Climbing (Via Ferrata) call it. Before going up into the mountains, you can get started at some of the best rock climbing schools that exist throughout Asturian territory.

Accompanied by a harness and helmet, you can go underground to explore the depths of our mountains and our soul with views of stalactites and stalagmites. A long list of caves and chasms, some of which are enormous, will make it hard for you to choose.

Don’t put your helmet down yet. Once you are back on land, you can check out our vias ferratas, fixed rope route climbing, or, if you like speed, you could try out land sailing. You will be taken by surprise.
