THE NORTH DEVON (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT) (No.2) ORDER 2014 The NORTH DEVON DISTRICT COUNCIL in exercise of its powers under Section 35C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Regulation 25 of The Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England & Wales) Regulations 1996 hereby makes the following Order:- 1. This Order may be cited as the North Devon (Off-Street Parking Places) (Amendment) (No.2) Order 2014 and shall come into operation on 9 May 2014. 2. This Order shall amend the North Devon (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2014 and the North Devon (Off-Street Parking Places) (Amendment) Order 2014 (“the Existing Order”) only so far as contained herein. 3. A copy of the Existing Order may be seen in the Legal Services Unit, 3rd Floor, Civic Centre, Barnstaple, Devon, during normal office hours. Amendments to the Existing Order shall be as follows: - Schedule The following wording shall be added to the Schedule: - ‘C70’ means from 15th March to 31st October - £1 per hr, maximum charge £3.50 per day List of Parking Places The List of Parking Places shall be amended to read: - Name of Permitted Scale of Days of Hours of Ancillary matters Parking Place Class of Charges Operation of operation of vehicles scale of scale of charges charges Croyde Croyde Car V2 C12, C24, D3 H3 N2, N22 Park C70 Mortehoe Mortehoe Car V2 C12, C24, D3 H3 N2, N7, N22 Park C70 The Existing Order shall remain in full force and effect save as varied herein. Head of Legal North Devon District Council, Civic Centre, Barnstaple, North Devon In this Schedule: The scale of charges for each parking place shall be as follows: ‘C1’ means £1.00 per hour, £7.50 per day ‘C31’ means residents permit available to those living within ¼ ‘C2’ means from 15th March to 31st October -£1.00 miles of the parking place at a charge of £28.40 per year per hour ‘C32’ means 50p per hour. ‘C3’ means from 1st November to 14th March -60p ‘C33’ means from 15th March to 31st October - 90p for 1 hour, for 1 hr, £1.20 for 2 hrs, £1.80 for 3 hrs, All £1.80 for 2 hours, All day £3.10 day £2.00. ‘C34’ means 30p per hour, maximum charge £1.10 per day. ‘C4’ means from 1st November to 14th March ‘C35’ means from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m. season tickets only between 7.00pm and 10.00am – No Night ‘C36’ means reserved parking only by arrangement with Charge NDDC. ‘C5’ means £1.50 per hour, £8.00 all day. ‘C37’ means up to 1 hour - £1.00, up to 2 hours - £2.00, up to ‘C6’ means from 1st February to 30th November - 3 hours - £3.00, All day - £4.00 £1.00 for 1 hour, £2.00 for 2 hours, £3.00 for ‘C38’ means up to 1 hour free, up to 3 hours 60p, £1.60 all day 3 hours, £4.00 for 4 hours, All day £5.00. ‘C39’ means from 15th March to 31st October -£1 per hr, ‘C7’‘ means free of charge. maximum charge £7.50 per day. C8’ means from 15th March to 31st October ‘C40’ means 40p per hour. £2.60 all day between 9.00pm and 10.00am – No Night ‘C41’ means £1.60 all day Charge ‘C42’ means 60p for 3 hours, £1.60 all day. ‘C9’ means up to1 hour free, £1.60 all day. ‘C43’ means parking by non-transferable Permit only after 30- ‘C10’ means from 15th March to 31st October - 70p minute free period per hour, maximum charge £2.60 per day. ‘C44’ means from 15th March to 31st October £1.20 per hr. ‘C11’ means £1.00 per hour, £5.00 all day ‘C45’ means 12 Jan to 13 Apr 2014 (Sundays Only) – 50 p per ‘C12’ means from 1st November to 14th March – hour 60p for 2 hours, maximum charge £1.60 All ‘C46’ means from 1st March to 15th July and 5th September to day. 5th November - £6.00 per day and from 16th July to 4th ‘C13’ means from 15th March to 31st October– 60p September - £7.00 per day. for 2 hours, £1.60 All day. ‘C47’ means reserved parking only - £67.00 per half year. ‘C14’ means from 1st November to 14th March - 70p ‘C48’ means £1.50 per hour, £8.00 all day (24 Hours) up to 2 hours, £1.00 from 2 hours up to 12 ‘C49’ means from 1st November to 14th March – 60p for 2 Hours, £2.00 up to 24 hours hours, £1.60 All day. ‘C15’ means between 6.00pm and 8.30am – No ‘C50’ means reserved parking only £38.50per quarter, £132 per Night Charge year. ‘C16’ means 70p up to 2 hours, £1.00 from 2 hours ‘C51’ means residents permit available to those living within ¼ up to 12 Hours, £2.00 up to 24 hours miles of the parking place at £56.70 per yr ‘C17’ means from 15th March to 31st October – ‘C52’ means 20p for 1 hour, 50p per hour thereafter 90p per hour from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. and ‘C53’ means between 8.30am and 6.00pm –up to 1 hour – 90p, £2.00 from 6 p.m. to 8.00 a.m.. The hours of operation of the scale of charges shall be as follows: ‘H1’ means 8.30am to 6.00pm. ‘H2’ means all hours. ‘H3’ means 8.00am to 6.00pm. ‘H4’ means 10.00am to 9.00pm. ‘H5’ means 10.00am to 7.00pm. ‘H6’ means 9.30am to 5.30pm ‘H7’ means 7.00am to 10.00pm ‘H8’ means 10.00am to 6.00pm ‘H9’ means 9.00am to 5.00pm ‘H10’ means 9.00am to 9.00pm The following combinations of vehicles shall be the Classes of vehicles permitted to park in the parking places: ‘V1’ means solo motorcycles, motorcars, quad bikes and motorcycle combinations. ‘V2’ means solo motorcycles, motorcars and vehicles not exceeding 3,500 kg unladen weight. ‘V3’ means solo motorcycles, motorcars, quad bikes and motorcycle combinations and motor vehicles not exceeding 3,500 kg unladen weight. ‘V4’ means solo motorcycles, motor cars, quad bikes and motorcycle combinations, motor vehicles not exceeding 3,500 kg unladen weight and trailers and caravans. ‘V5’ means motor vehicles exceeding 3,500 kg unladen weight. ‘V6’ means coaches. ‘V7’ means motorcars, quad bikes and motorcycle combinations and motor vehicles not exceeding 3,500 kg unladen weight. ‘V8’ means parking for general public prohibited.
