The Athletic Department, through its recreational, intramural and club sports programs, and through its intercollegiate programs enables and encourages all individuals to participate in a wide variety of sports at many levels of competition. Values such as leadership, diligence, determination, competition, teamwork and sportsmanship are emphasized. The importance of continuing and lifelong activity is also encouraged. La Salle Recreation is proud to offer our student body the chance to expand their athletic careers by offering club sports. Club Sports are a vital part of student life at La Salle. Club Sports provide students with the opportunity to compete with other schools in multiple sports. La Salle University club sports are student-run, student led sport based organizations that are overseen by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation.

The Intramural program at La Salle gives students, faculty and staff the opportunity to compete in a variety of sports. Sports are offered in both the fall and spring. The Fall semester includes Flag Football, Volleyball and Indoor Soccer and the spring semester includes Basketball, Softball and Dodgeball. Intramurals are open to any member of the La Salle Community with a valid ID

CITY 6 CHAMPIONSHIP
City 6 is composed of La Salle University, Drexel University, Saint Joseph's University, Temple University, University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University.
The winners from each school come together to compete against each other for select sports, which include flag football, volleyball, basketball, and softball. City 6 tournaments are held at venues throughout the area, including some of the best collegiate facilities in the city such as the Palestra, Villanova Football Stadium and Saint Joseph's Alumni Hall!
