If the ticket office is closed, buy on the train from the Conductor (by cash or card). For longer trips (e.g. Bristol, London), save money by buying your ticket up to 12 weeks in advance. Top tips DOGS WELCOME You can take up to two dogs on the train free of charge. You just need a lead. BUGGIES ALLOWED Bring your pram or buggy. If possible fold it down once on the train. Under 5s go free. TAKING YOUR BIKE On smaller local trains, two bikes per train are permitted, first come first served (free of charge). On High Speed Trains, you must book your bike on in advance. Book on 0345 7000 125, at a staffed station or at GWR.com. Walks from the railway CORNISH MINING HERITAGE WALK Discover the Cornish Mining Heritage of the Luxulyan Valley. Take the train to Luxulyan, then use the directions and map in our downloadable leaflet to explore the area on foot - including taking in the amazing Treffry Viaduct. The short version of the walk is 2.5 miles, with the option to extend it to 3.7 miles. In Luxulyan there is a local pub, the King’s Arms, where you can enjoy some lunch.
