• Former Portage Residential School and 45 acres of land became federal surplus once the school closed its doors in 1975. • Acquired for one dollar in 1981 through acknowledgment of an outstanding treaty land entitlement. • Converted to reserve in 6 months. • In 1998 an adjacent 90 acres was acquired by the LPFN Trust and is pending ATR. • Ideally situated along the Trans Canada Highway.
