It is located on the right bank of the Kunhar River. It is almost at two-thirds of the length of river from it its origin at Lake Dharam Sar deep in the Kaghan Valley, before it confluence with Jehlum River. Travel from Islamabad to Balakot. Overnight stay in hotel. Day 2 Naran is a medium-sized town in upper Kaghan Valley in Mansehra District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located 119 kilometers from Mansehra city at the altitude of 2,409 meters (7,904 ft).It is located about 65 kilometer away from Babusar Top. It is a popular tourist attraction locally as well as internationally. Jheel Saif ul Muluk is a mountainous lake located at the northern end of the Kaghan Valley, near the town of Naran in the Saiful Muluk National Park. At an elevation of 3,224 m (10,578 feet) above sea level, the lake is located above the tree line, and is one of the highest lakes in Pakistan. Morning breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Naran. It flows southwest through the entire length of Kaghan Valley, passing Jalkhand, Naran, Kaghan, Jared, Paras and Balakot until its confluence with the Jhelum River. It is located about 50 kilometres away from Naran and is accessible by any kind of vehicle. Babusar Pass or Babusar Top is located at elevation 4,173 metres or 13,691 feet. It is a mountain pass in Pakistan at the north of the 150 km long Kaghan Valley, connecting it via the Thak Nala with Chilas on the Karakoram Highway (KKH). It is the highest point in the Babusar Valley that can be easily accessed by cars. The Babusar Pass connects Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Gilgit Baltistan. Morning breakfast at hotel. It is the capital of Baltistan that is perched 2,438 meters above sea level in the backdrop of the great peaks of the Karakoram. Lower Kachura Lake is located in Kachura village in Skardu city at a height of 2,500 meters (8,200 ft). The lake is also known as Shangrila lake after a resort built on its bank in 1983. Upper Kachura Lake is of clear water and has a depth of 70 meters (230 ft). In summer it has a temperature of 15 °C (59 °F). In winter the surface is frozen solid. The Shigar Fort means The Fort on Rock is an old fort of Baltistan and Pakistan located in the town of Shigar. It was built in the 17th century by the Raja of Amacha Dynasty of Shigar. Manthokha Waterfall is a waterfall located in Kharmang Valley, Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, the extreme northern region of Pakistan. Day 6 The Deosai National Park is a high-altitude alpine plain (plateau) and national park in the Northern Pakistan region of Gilgit-Baltistan. Manthal Buddha Rock is a large granite rock on which picture of Buddha has engraved which probably dates back to 8 century. This rock is located in Manthal village of Skardu Town, in Pakistan. It is part of the Silk Road connected by the Karakoram Highway and N-90 National Highway, which link it to Islamabad and Peshawar in the southwest, via Hazara and Malakand Divisions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
