Addendum to School Places Strategy 2017-2022 – Explanation of the differences between Wiltshire Community Areas and Wiltshire School Planning Areas This document should be read in conjunction with the School Places Strategy 2017 – 2022 and provides an explanation of the differences between the Wiltshire Community Areas served by the Area Boards and the School Planning Areas. The Strategy is primarily a school place planning tool which, by necessity, is written from the perspective of the School Planning Areas. A School Planning Area (SPA) is defined as the area(s) served by a Secondary School and therefore includes all primary schools in the towns and surrounding villages which feed into that secondary school. As these areas can differ from the community areas, this addendum is a reference tool to aid interested parties from the Community Area/Area Board to define which SPA includes the schools covered by their Community Area. It is therefore written from the Community Area standpoint. Amesbury The Amesbury Community Area and Area Board covers Amesbury town and surrounding parishes of Tilshead, Orcheston, Shrewton, Figheldean, Netheravon, Enford, Durrington (including Larkhill), Milston, Bulford, Cholderton, Wilsford & Lake, The Woodfords and Great Durnford. It encompasses the secondary schools The Stonehenge School in Amesbury and Avon Valley College in Durrington and includes primary schools which feed into secondary provision in the Community Areas of Durrington, Lavington and Salisbury. However, the School Planning Area (SPA) is based on the area(s) served by the Secondary Schools and covers schools in the towns and surrounding villages which feed into either The Stonehenge School in Amesbury or Avon Valley College in Durrington. -

Eat and Die: The Last Meal of Sacrificed Chimú Camelids at Huanchaquito-Las Llamas, Peru, as Revealed by Starch Grain Analysis Clarissa Cagnato , Nicolas Goepfert, Michelle Elliott, Gabriel Prieto, John Verano, and Elise Dufour This article reconstructs the final diet of sacrificed domestic camelids from Huanchaquito-Las Llamas to understand whether feeding was part of the ritual practice. The site is situated on the northern coast of Peru and is dated to the fifteenth century AD (Late Intermediate period; LIP). It was used by the Chimús to kill and bury a large number of camelids, mostly juveniles. We reconstructed the final meal of 11 of the sacrificed individuals by analyzing starch grains derived from the associated gut con- tents and feces. The starch grains were well preserved and allowed for the determination of five plant taxa. The comparison with previously published and new stable isotope analyses, which provide insights into long-term diet, indicates that the Chi- mús managed their herds by providing maize as fodder and allowing them to graze on natural pasture; yet they reserved special treatment for sacrificial animals, probably bringing them together a few hours or days before the sacrificial act. We show for the first time the consumption of unusual food products, which included manioc, chili peppers, and beans, as well as cooked foods. Our study provides unique information on Chimú camelid ritual and herding practices. Ordinances of the University of Bath
UNIVERSITY OF BATH ORDINANCES 1. DEFINITIONS In the Ordinances, Regulations and Rules of the University, words shall have the same meaning as in the Charter and Statutes, unless the context be repugnant thereto. Where a post is specified, it shall include any person duly authorised to act in place of the post- holder, such that 'Vice-Chancellor' shall include the Deputy Vice-Chancellor or a Pro- Vice-Chancellor or other person duly authorised to act in place of the Vice-Chancellor, 'Standing Order' shall mean any enactment of any University body for the purpose of governing of its own procedure or that of its committees or the method of election thereto. 'Curriculum' shall mean a complete course of study prescribed as a qualification for a degree or University distinction. 'The SU' shall mean The University of Bath Students' Union. 'Academic Staff' shall have the same meaning as is set out in Section 1 of the Statutes save in relation to Ordinances which incorporate a reference to Section 25 of the Statutes in which case the definition of 'Academic Staff' shall have the same meaning as is set out in Section 25.3(1)(a) and Section 25.3(2) of the Statutes. Footnote: Statute 1.5 makes enabling provision for periodic changes in the title of an organisational unit or office without changing the terminology used in the Statutes. The terminology used in the Ordinances has been revised to reflect the Faculty-based academic structure which was introduced in August 1997 and will not always be defined in the Charter and Statutes or necessarily have the same meaning as in the Charter and Statutes. -

WILDLIFE RESERVES SINGAPORE YEAR BOOK • 2009 / 2010 YEAR IN REVIEW The reporting year was one of carefully considered expansion. While the many new exhibits, attractions and inaugural events which characterised the previous year settled into their second year of operations, WRS focused on laying the groundwork this reporting year for exciting things to come in the future. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR • Wildlife Reserves Singapore Conservation Fund (WRSCF) was launched on 10 July 2009. The Fund is an independent conservation fund dedicated primarily to native wildlife conservation and education. • WRS and WRSCF signed a memorandum of understanding to formalise collaboration with the world-renowned conservation establishment, Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), New York, on field conservation and public education to protect biodiversity. • WRS announced that it will receive a pair of giant pandas from China Wildlife Conservation Association (CWCA) as part of the collaboration to promote giant panda conservation, raise public awareness of China wildlife conservation and to implement giant panda breeding programme. The giant pandas will be housed in River Safari. • Construction of River Safari, the fourth attraction of WRS and Asia’s first freshwater- themed wildlife attraction got underway. • Night Safari won the Best Visitor Attraction Award, adding to a total of 19 for WRS, out of 21 awards given out by STB for the best in the leisure attraction category. • A tour agency named ‘Wildlife Travel & Tours’ was set up in September 09 to provide one-stop leisure attraction offerings to tourists. • Hollywood Dinos, a travelling exhibition that employs animatronics to showcase life-size dinosaurs, was held at Jurong Bird Park from 12 December 2009 to 18 February 2010. -
