Tà paskatino Europos standartø projektams rengti Europos standartizacijos komiteto (CEN) 2012 m. geguþës 24 d. sudarytas naujas technikos komitetas CEN/PC 419 „Teismo medicinos procesai“ (angl. k. Forensic Science Processes), kurá pasiûlë Lenkijos standartizacijos komitetas (PKN). Pirmasis CEN/PC 419 susirinkimas ávyko 2012 m. spalio mën. Varðuvoje. Jame dalyvavo 30 ekspertø ið ávairiø CEN ðaliø nariø. Ðio komiteto pirmininku 4-iø metø kadencijai iðrinktas Lenkijos Policijos centrinës kriminalinës laboratorijos direktorius (CLKP – Centralne Laboratorium Kryminalistyczne Policji) dr. Paweù Rybicki, o sekretore tapo CLKP Mokslo plëtros departamento atstovë Agnieszka Ùukomska. CEN/PC 419 „Teismo medicinos procesai“ veikloje numatyta parengti Europos standartus, kurie turëtø apimti plaèià procesø, nustatanèiø teismo medicinos procesø procedûras, grandinæ: pradedant nusikaltimo vieta ir baigiant medþiagos iðtyrimu bei analize, taip pat rezultatø tyrimu. Europos standartai padës sukurti bendrà poþiûrá ir nustatys vienodus paslaugø reikalavimus, keliamus teismo medicinos procesams visoje Europoje. Pirmenybë bus teikiama standartui, skirtam árodymø nusikaltimo vietoje ir teismo medicinos duomenø surinkimo vadybai. Pirmasis Europos standarto Crime scene, exhibit handling and control (Nusikaltimo vieta, daiktiniø árodymø surinkimas ir tyrimas) projektas bus svarstomas jau ðiø metø spalá vyksianèiame CEN susirinkime, o standartas turëtø bûti iðleistas 2015 m. Tikimasi, kad ðio komiteto parengti standartai padarys efektyvesná nusikaltimø tyrimà ir veiksmingesná paslaugø teikëjø, teisësaugos ir teismø institucijø bendradarbiavimà nustatant gerosios praktikos gaires. Lietuvos standartizacijos departamentas kvieèia ûkio subjektus, kurie domisi teismo medicinos paslaugø standartizavimu, tapti sudaromos laikinosios darbo grupës „Teismo medicinos procesai“ nariais ir dalyvauti rengiant Europos standartø projektus bei formuojant Lietuvos nuomonæ dël rengiamø Europos standartø. • Investigate M2M-Related Communication Standards That Exist on the Global Market Today
View metadata, citation and similar papers at core.ac.uk brought to you by CORE provided by Agder University Research Archive Investigate M2M-related communication standards that exist on the global market today by Aleksander Albretsen Thesis in partial fulfilment of the degree of Master in Technology in Information and Communication Technology Agder University College Faculty of Engineering and Science Grimstad Norway June 2006 Abstract Most M2M applications use well-known communication technologies to interconnect the devices. Even though they use well-known communication technologies there are no widely used and well-defined M2M standards regarding the data exchange (application layer). This thesis investigates and identifies M2M related communication standards that exist on the global market today, and are applicable for M2M standardisation. This thesis is limited to the following segments within M2M: Security, Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) and Utility Control. Today, and in the future, IP will play an important role within M2M. This thesis is therefore mainly focusing on standards that implement how to transfer the application layer using the IP-stack. M2M is defined in this thesis as an application with a central server communicating with end-devices through a gateway, using remote communication from server to gateway. The following standards are investigated and found applicable in one or more of the selected segments: CIP, MODBUS, LonWorks, KNX, DLMS/COSEM, M-BUS, SIA, M2MXML, OPC and ZigBee. Each of the standards is explained within the thesis. All standards are identified and categorised, and area of applications and proposed solutions are described. This thesis discusses the applicability regarding each segment, multiple services behind one gateway, bandwidth consumption, software update and interconnection of networks.

COSEM, the Companion Specification for Energy Metering, addresses the meter as an integrated part of a commercial process, which starts with the measurement of the delivered product (energy) and ends with the revenue collection.

  • Interfaces of Consumption Metering Infrastructures with the Energy Consumers
VTT CREATES BUSINESS FROM TECHNOLOGY Technology and market foresight • Strategic research • Product and service development • IPR and licensing VTT RESEARCH NOTES 2542 • Assessments, testing, inspection, certification • Technology and innovation management • Technology partnership • • • VTT RESEARCH NOTES 2542 INTERFACES OF CONSUMPTION METERING INFRASTRUCTURES WITH THE ENERGY... • VTT RESEARCH NOTES Standards for the data communication interfaces related to smart metering are reviewed. The main focus is on the interfaces with the energy consumer’s systems and appliances, but also the other interfaces are briefly discussed. Typically and increasingly these systems and appliances are connected with the meter via home automation or building automation networks. This interface is becoming increasingly important together with the needs to save energy and increase demand response, enabled by the increase of intelligence in the electricity grids, houses and appli- ances. There are many protocols and standards, but the lack of a common open standard has delayed the development of the appliances and services that depend on these interfaces. This may also have delayed the development of functional and interface requirements for the meters. The problem has been widely detected and there are ongoing initiatives to solve it. Also these initiatives are briefly discussed. An observation was that many protocols have significant shortcomings regarding data security. This problem is outstanding especially with the home and building automation protocols.
