WEST OF COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1967 The County Council of the West Riding of Yorkshire (Restricted Roads} (No. 2) Order, 1969 Imposition of 30 m.p.h. Speed Limits at Staveley Notice is hereby given that on the 19th May 1969, the County Council of the West Riding of Yorkshire made an Order under section 72(3) and section 73(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1967, the effect of which is that as from the 2nd June 1969, the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice will be subject to a speed limit of 30 m.p.h. A copy of the Order and a map showing the roads to which the Order relates may be inspected at the County Hall (Room 87), , during normal office hours. Dated 29th May 1969. P. J. From a point 250 yards north-east of the north- Staveley- County easterly side of its junction with the Staveley- Road (Class III). Arkendale County Road (Class III) in a general south-westerly direction for a distance measured along the said length of road of 830 yards. The Staveley-Arkendale Nidderdale Rural. From its junction with the —Farnham— County Road (Class III). Staveley-Minskip County Road in a south- easterly direction for a distance measured along the said length of road of 383 yards. The un-named Unclassified Nidderdale Rural. The whole length. County Road situated east of the junction of the Knares- borough - Farnham-Staveley - Minskip and Staveley- Arkendale County Roads being 60 yards in length. (304)

WEST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL The County Council of the West Riding of Yorkshire (40 m.p.h. Speed Limit) (No. 4) Order, 1969 Imposition of 40 m.p.h. Speed Limit at Alwoodley Gates and Sprotbrough Notice is hereby given that the County Council of the West Riding of Yorkshire propose to make an Order under section 74(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1967, as amended by Part IX of the Transport Act, 1968. When this Order comes into effect the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice will become subject to a speed limit of 40 m.p.h. The length of 120 yards of the Alwoodley Lane (Unclassified) County Road from the City/ Rural District boundary to the junction with the Leeds--Thirsk (Class I) County Road A.61 at Alwoodley Gates is at present subject to a speed limit of 30 m.p.h. The Draft Order which, together with maps showing the lengths of road concerned and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the County Hall (Room 87), Wakefield, or at the Council Offices of the respective County Districts concerned between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.
