Quite a number of exciting new developments are taking place in Arik Air and it is my pleasure to update you of these especially; our upgrade options , the new domestic fare regime and the Frequent Flyer Programme (FFP). Arik Air Economy Class passengers can now upgrade to Business Class I am delighted to inform you that Arik Air has partnered with Optiontown to offer Economy Class passengers the opportunity to upgrade to Business Class across its extensive network. Passengers will pay a fee once they have purchased an Economy Class ticket in order to upgrade to Business Class and enjoy the highest level of comfort and service such as extra leg room, access to Business Class lounges, priority check-in and priority boarding are amongst a range of benefits on offer with the new upgrade system. Enjoying the new potential benefits couldn't be simpler – all a passenger has to do is buy an Arik Air Economy Class ticket and then visit www.optiontown.com , enter the booking reference, surname and e-mail address to retrieve the reservation and enter the flight code/destination they want upgraded on. Passengers will a sign up fee (approx NGN 620) and a nominal additional upgrade price which may be 75% saving compared to regular Arik Air Business Class fares . The passenger will receive an e-mail prior to departure notifying him/ her of the successful upgrade. Read more >>> Arik Air introduces cheaper domestic fares As a value based airline offering good value for money, Arik Air has introduced cheaper fares across its domestic network. The new fares are applicable to domestic tickets purchased in advance of travelling dates by guests who are now assured of super savings on their trips. Fares for domestic destinations start from N10,600 * one-way for destinations like Lagos to Jos and Abuja to Sokoto . With the new fare regime, guests can now pay as low as N14,750 * for flights from Lagos to Abuja and N11,100 * for flights from Lagos to Calabar . To enjoy these cheap fares, guests will have to book and pay for their tickets at least 14 days before the intended day of travel . Tickets can be booked and paid for on line at the airline’s website www.arikair.com or at any Arik Air point of sale including sales offices. A full list of destinations and reduced fares, along with the details of the applicable terms and conditions, can be obtained from the airline’s website and ticketing offices. I believe this offer will give more of our guests greater flexibility of flights at very attractive prices across our entire domestic network. Our website www.arikair.com has been designed to emphasise user friendliness so that our guests can now search for, and book these cheaper fares with ease. To join the scheme , customers will need to: Complete an enrolment form. Detach and keep the temporary frequent flyer card with their unique frequent flyer number. Return the completed form to any Arik ticket office clearly marked "attention of the Frequent Flyer Manager", OR send to the Frequent Flyer Centre at the Head Office. Miles can be earned on international and regional routes. Accumulated miles can then be used for free flights, upgrades or excess baggage vouchers on all flights.
