Pacific Raceways Pacific Motorsports Park Pacific Raceways, the Pacific Northwest region’s premier motorsports facility, is gearing up for its next phase of development for a sustainable future From Past to Future The Fiorito family opened Pacific Raceways on July 4, 1960, and still operates the business today attracting over 350,000 visitors annually to the state’s 5th largest spectator venue with 22,500 permanent seats. The facility is situated in the 12th largest media market in the country and features a 2.25-mile road course, a motocross venue, high-caliber kart track, a NHRA national drag strip and a professional racing school. The unique combination of 52 years of community involvement and recently passed legislation provides Pacific Raceways with distinct operating and development rights to its property. A Master Plan developed over the past 10 years brings together 1.2 million square feet of technology-based and racing related commercial real estate with an improvement plan to the historic road course that anticipates professional sanctioning. The ease of access to the facility from Seattle, Bellevue, and Tacoma makes the location extremely desirable yet bucolic. Legendary racers and motorsports innnovators such as Mario Andretti, Dan Gurney, Al Unser, Dale Earnhardt and Don Garlits have competed here during the past half century. Professional Racing Upgrades to the racing surface will pave the way for additional professional sanctioning recognized by series such as NASCAR, IndyCar, American Le Mans, Grand American Sports Cars, American Motorcycle Association and other nationally televised racing events. Pacific Raceways will continue to be known for its NHRA national event drag strip, motocross track, nine-tenths mile kart track, professionally certified racing school, community of race car owners, and racing enthusiasts. World-Class Pacific Motorsports Park Upon completion and approval of the environmental impact study, Pacific Raceways will embark on the next phase of construction beginning with 1.2 million square feet of commercial space where a world-class, clean tech innovation center with labs and office space will coexist with traditional racing industries. “Pacific Motorsports Park” is designed to attract traditional motorsports businesses as well as racers and hobbyists looking for first-class garage space. Business owners and club-style garages will have preferred access to Pacific Raceways five racing surfaces including drag strip, road course, motocross, oval and kart track. A limited number of spaces are available for businesses to co-locate next to the Pacific Northwest’s premier racing facility where interaction with clients, racing teams and fans will provide a competitive edge. Garage space will be available for single-car hobbyists to multi-car race teams providing the opportunity to interact with racing related businesses.
