KENT, Wash. (May 24, 2015) – Round Nine of the SCCA Western Conference U.S. Majors Tour was contested at Pacific Raceways as part of a Sunday/Monday double- header race over the three-day Memorial Day weekend.

Drivers representing 24 Runoffs- eligible classes took to the 10- turn, 2.25-mile circuit to run their 25-minute sprint races. The sprint races were originally scheduled to last only 20 minutes, but a run group consolidation allowed each race to run an additional five minutes in length. The races were preceded by a pair of 15-minute qualifying sessions that were used to set the starting order.

Here is a summary of the day’s action:

he Vintage Racing Club of Brit- Tish Columbia announced today that the twenty‐eighth running of its annual marquee race weekend, the British Columbia Historic Motor Races (BCHMR), will be held on Au- gust 22 and 23, 2015, at the Mission Raceway Park – Road Course, Mis- sion, British Columbia.

This event has run since 1981. The races were first staged at the famous Westwood track in Coquitlam and then moved to their current home at the multi‐purpose racing complex at Mission.

The SMGP will be a new feature race on the Rose Cup schedule. A new perpetual trophy is being created to honor the winners.

All three Spec Miata races on the Rose Cup weekend are part of the 2015 Spec Miata Championship Tour, which in- cludes races hosted by both Conference and SCCA at Pacific Raceways, The Ridge Motorsports Park, and at Port- land International Raceway.
