Die so gewonnenen Musikdeskriptoren erlauben die Indizierung um- fassender Musiksammlungen mithilfe vielf¨altiger Bezeichnungen und erm¨oglichen es, Musikst¨ucke auffindbar zu machen und Sammlungen zu explorieren. Die vorgestell- ten Techniken bedienen sich g¨angiger Web-Suchmaschinen um Texte zu finden, die in Beziehung zu den St¨ucken stehen. Making a Noise – Making a Difference: Techno-Punk and Terra-ism GRAHAM ST JOHN UNIVERSITY OF QUEENSLAND Abstract This article charts the convergence of post-punk/post-settler logics in the techno-punk development in Australia. Exploring how punk would become implicated in the cultural politics of a settler society struggling for legitimacy, it maps the ground out of which Labrats sound system (and their hybrid outfit Combat Wombat) arose. It provides an entry to punk through an analysis of the concept of hardcore in the context of cultural mobilisations which, following more than two centuries of European colonisation, evince desires to make reparations and forge alliances with Indigenous people and landscape. To achieve this, the article traces the contours and investigates the implications of Sydney’s techno-punk emergence (as seen in The Jellyheads, Non Bossy Posse, Vibe Tribe and Ohms not Bombs), tracking the mobile and media savvy exploits of 1990s DIY sound systems and techno terra-ists, aesthetes and activists adopting intimate and tactical media technologies, committing to independent and decentralised EDM creativity, and implicated in a movement for legitimate presence. Freetekno Party Nebo Obecněji Freeparty Je Společenská a Hudební
Úvod Freetekno party nebo obecněji freeparty je společenská a hudební událost, pro jejíţ uskutečnění není potřeba ţádných organizátorů a vše probíhá spontánně, kaţdý účastník ze svobodné vůle přispívá k fungování festivalu (hudební produkce, bary, úklid). Koná se buď na nelegálně obsazeném nebo pronajatém pozemku, coţ sebou ale často přináší nevoli okolních obyvatel a jejich zastupitelů, kteří se snaţí akci zabránit nebo přerušit. Je to alternativní forma zábavy, která existuje na nekomerčním a neziskovém principu a provází ji specifická atmosféra svobody. Tato volnost se týká i drog a jejich konzumace. Bylo dokázáno, ţe konzumace drog na taneční scéně je vyšší neţ u běţné populace. Taneční scéna je však široký pojem a dosud se ţádný z oficiální výzkumů v ČR nezabýval specifickými vzorci uţívání drog na freetekno scéně. Na území ČR byly provedeny tři na sebe navazující výzkumné studie přinášející údaje o prevalenčních hodnotách drog, postoji k drogám (tolerance, preference, odmítání,…) a z nich vyplývajících optaření do budoucna. Subkulturou freetekno se zabývalo také několik studenstských prací, ať uţ diplomových, bakalářských nebo absolventských. Freetekno fenomén je zpracováván např. ze sociologicko-politického hlediska (Wimmer, 2006), z antropologického (Kočandrle, 2008), psychologického (Haase, 2008) hlediska a dalších specifických oblastí této subkultury. Tyto práce pro mě byly v počátku přehledem o situaci výzkumu na toto téma a následně zrojem rešeršé obtíţně dostupné literatury. Pokud se mluví o freeteknu, teknařích nebo CzechTeku aj. vţdy se toto téma dotkne drog. Díky massmédiím a bulváru je freetek publikován jako sraz „feťáků" na louce doplňující hlasitá nemelodická hudba (Freetek kultura, 2008). na druhou stranu existuje mnoho článků o tom, které se tomuto pojetí brání. -
