CONCENTRATIONS OF MAJOR IONS IN 182* OTHER TARNS, LISTED IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER On pages 119-154 concentrations are given in micro-equivalents per litre for: sodium (Na+), calcium (Ca2+), magnesium (Mg2+), potassium (K+), alkalinity (Alk), strong acids (S.A.), chloride (Cl) nitrate (NO3). The last column tabulates pH. Different analytical methods are identified as shown in Table 4 (page 22). In Appendix 4 the tarns are grouped by solid geology in the catchments and relative distances from the sea.
