VISIT TO KATONAH MUSEUM OF ART The 36th year of Katonah Museum of Art’s annual Young Artists exhibition is fast approaching! This annual program involves students in all aspects of mounting a museum exhibition – from designing the invitation to installing the artwork. Students folded over 1,000 paper cranes and strung them into beautiful art pieces in honor of World Peace Day. The students wrote their dreams, hopes and wishes inside of their cranes. BEAUTIFUL ART CREATED BY OUR STUDENTS What does PHS means to you. They then were given a small piece of paper where they either wrote a word that represented art or created a visual representation. The plaster hands are actual hands of our students in the art program, where they plastered their hand and then used the mold for the piece.
