Hon'ble Supreme court of India vide its judgment dated February 27, 2012 and further relief amendment dated April 16, 2012 directed all states, Union Territories and ministry of environment and forest, govt. of India, New Delhi to screen mining of minor minerals leases within the purview of EIA notification 2006 and made requirement of environmental clearance to minor minerals less than 5ha compulsory. Ministry of environment & forest, Gol vide its office memorandum L- ll0l1l47/201l.IA.II(M) dated 18.05.2012 directed mass to comply Hon'ble Supreme court decision. Further streamlining of Environmental clearance procedures, MOEFCC, GOI amended EIA notification 2006 vide S.O.I41(E) dated 15.01.2016 where procedure for preparation of District Survey Report (DSR) for minor minerals has been prescribed. Further the procedure for preparation of DSR and Format is amended vide MOEFCC notification S.O.3611(E) dated 25.07.2018.The subjected DSR is defined as "Appendix -X (See Paragraph 7(iii)(a))" of the notification S.O.14l(E) dated 15.01.2016 and S.O. -

NOTIFICATION FOR THE POSTS OF GRAMIN DAK SEVAKS IN THE CIRCLE Maharashtra Circle ESTT/4-1/GDS ONLINE SELECTION/2017 DATED AT MUMBAI THE 07.04.2017 Applications are invited by the respective appointing authority as shown in the annexure ‘B’ against each post, from eligible candidates for the selection and engagement to the posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks under ……………….………………Maharashtra Circle……….……………………………….. as listed in the Annexure. Eligibility: A. AGE:- The minimum and maximum age for the purpose of engagement to Gramin Dak Sevaks posts shall be between 18 and 40 years as on the last date of submission of application through online. The maximum age shall be relaxable by 03 (three) years to those belonging to OBC categories and 05 (five) years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST. [10 years for PH above the respective category] B. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:- The candidate should pass 10th standard from approved state boards by the respective State Govt. / Central Govt. The state wise list of approved boards is at Annexure ‘A’. No weightage will be given for possessing any qualification(s) higher than the mandatory educational qualification. The Candidate passed Xth class examination in first attempt will be treated as meritorious against those passed compartmentally. C. COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:- The candidate should have computer knowledge and will be required to furnish basic computer training certificate for at least 60 days from a recognized Computer Training Institute. Certificates from Central Government/ State Government/ University/ Boards etc., will also be acceptable for this purpose. This requirement of basic computer knowledge certificate shall be relaxable in cases where a candidate has studied computer as a subject in Class X or Class XII or higher educational qualification provided the candidate submits a certificate of Class X or Class XII or higher educational qualification in which he/she has studied computer as a subject. -

The population is generally very poor and people cannot afford to go for 10+2 or colleges and therefore low literacy area are quite large. Though great efforts has been made by the State Government to bring up their standard of living but only about 30% literacy has been achieved. This is perhaps because of lack of spiritual awakening. Sant Nirankari Mandal has made a great contribution in this area by establishing satsang bhawan in all villages and awakening them spiritually. This has led to a great sense of humility, love and service. Sant Nirankari Mission wants to awaken them educationally, socially and provide them sufficient medical cover also bring to them importance of good and hygienic and sanitation condition.
