St. Charles, IL: The Arcada Theatre is excited to welcome former teen icons and beloved entertainers Bobby Rydell and Lou Christie on Sunday, April 15 at 3pm. The co-bill brings two of the sixties most influential singers to the Historic stage, sharing classic songs such as "Wild One" and "Volare" as well as "The Gypsy Cried" and "Lightnin' Strikes." The evening will be an intimate, family-friendly rock 'n roll experience to remember.

Bobby Rydell was first discovered in the late '50s as a teenage drummer sitting in on fellow-heartthrob 's local band, Rocco and the Saints. At age 19 he was the youngest person to headline the famous in New York and in 1963 starred alongside Ann-Margret in the iconic movie, "." The producers of even named the high school "Rydell High" to pay tribute to Bobby's musical influence!

Lou Christie's distinct falsetto and songwriting collaboration with the classically trained musician Twyla Herbert, thirty years his senior, has influenced artists including , Madonna, and The Rolling Stones. His chart-topping hit "" was the first song to be banned on the radio due to it's suggestive lyrics, with other highlights including his appearances on "'s Caravan Of Stars," sharing 72 consecutive one-nighters with Diana Ross and the Supremes, and a command performance for Queen Elizabeth and the Royal Family.
