Marshall dives into the office, finds Rachel with surveillance cameras and leads her through a maze of servers. On the boat, Sid holds Peyton at gunpoint and asks her to explain the ultrasound images placed in the room. She faints, however. She wakes up to find herself ready for surgery. In APO, Marshall and Dixon examine the hard drive and discover that the man who cleaned the records had an Alpha Black gap. Only seven directors have this permission. They also find secure mobile phone numbers that allow these people to access the code. Marshall says he can trace which phone was used to access the server. Sloan, in turn, tells her that she must get the artifact. Marshall tells Rachel that he flagged the message from Corman, the man who allegedly killed Tom's wife. When Rachel says tom relented after meeting Corman's family, Marshall notes that Corman doesn't have a family. Rachel asks for 24 hours to investigate before Marshall admonishes Jack. Dixon comes to Hamburg and asks Vaughn how he will fake his death. Vaughn explains that Prophet Fifth wanted him dead, so Jack arranged to inject him with sodium morphate, putting it in a coma until an antidote was administered to him. When Dixon hands him a picture of Isabelle, Jack calls and asks them to return to Italy. In Italy, Sidney discreetly talks to Vaughan at the newspaper stand. Vaughn tells her that there are no records of the monastery, so Sid asks them to stand aside until she meets her contact. Sydney sees Sark in the bookmaker's office. Rachel, in her car, sees Tom and Corman talking. When Corman leaves, Rachel approaches Tom and demands an explanation. Tom admits that Corman, acting on the orders of the Cardinal, killed his wife. Corman asked Tom to pick up his CIA confiscated car in exchange for information. Rachel hacked into a federal database and found the car. Tom delivers it to Corman. On the way to Italy, Sloan, thinking he was talking to Anna, asks how she killed Sidney. After she said she shot Sidney in the back, Sloan told Payton that he wanted to kill Anna. He tazers her and grabs the amulet. Sloan tells her that Sidney deserves better than an anonymous bullet, and strangles her. Sid pushes him away. Once they have collected all the photos and information in the office, they decide that they must make arrests simultaneously to avoid tipping the rest of the members off, including Sloan. Jack, on Marshall's orders, monitors all of their activities so they can coordinate the arrest. Meanwhile, Sloan talks to Sark and Peyton and invites them to strengthen their positions in Prophet 5 to make them less expendable. Despite Peyton's initial hesitation, she agrees. Tom visits Rachel in her apartment. She comforts him in his sorrow, and he bends down to kiss her. When Rachel goes to the kitchen, Tom leaves. Later, Rachel is kidnapped by Sark. Around the same time, Marshall was abducted from his home and taken to Sloan's hideout. With Peyton, Sloan asks Marshall to hack into government system and find cave, access to a federal ground satellite. When Marshall refuses, Peyton tortures him. Sid and Jack inspired Carrie, Marshall's wife, who encouraged them to support the search for Marshall. When Sid shows her that Marshall is still working for the CIA, Carrie volunteers to help and provide technical support in Marshall's absence. As soon as Carrie arrives at the APO office, she breaks the password for Marshall's program to track down members of the Prophet of the Five. Sloan later confronted Sidney in the parking lot as she was transporting Isabelle. Sloan tells her to talk to Marshall, who is determined not to give up. Then Sid tells Marshall to do what Sloan says and asks what he wants to say to Carrie. He asks Sid to tell Carrie to finish reading Little Fish to her son. Rachel comes to the same room as Marshall. Marshall tells her that he needs her help in doing the Sloane. To ease Rachel's confusion, Marshall tells her he spoke to Sydney. Marshall suggests they jumped over the net so they didn't get into their hacks. With the understanding that Marshall really wants to get caught, they start working on their laptop. Later, Rachel finds the cave that Sloan wanted in central Italy. Vaughn sends a message to Marshall Carrie, where Carrie finds out that the main character in Little Fish is called Noah. With Sloan's motives, she concludes that Marshall should keep in mind NOAA's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration-something that Marshall should be hacking into now. Moving on with this possible lead, Carrie installs travel wires to monitor government hacks and locate Marshall. She later finds Marshall running network security protocols. She narrows his location to Ixtapa, and Jack sends a rescue team. In the basement, Rachel takes the handcuffs from the back of the head, and she and Marshall run away from the guard who was sent to kill them. Following the other guards, they run down the corridor in time to be rescued by the APO group that has just arrived. At the APO's office, Carrie informs Jack that, based on Marshall's tracker, members of the Prophet of the Five appear to be gathering in zurich. Jack assumes that Sloan must provide the information that Marshall and Rachel discovered - he assembles a team to strike. Extracting information in the shelter Sloan, Rachel mentions that Sloan is going to Umbria. Sydney realizes that he must be going to Mount Subacio. Climbing the snow-covered mountains, Vaughn lowers Sydney down to an icy underground cave where she finds Sloane with Rambaldi's amulet. When Sid holds him at gunpoint, Sloan says the shot will cause a cave in. In the APO Tom's office reports that based on files in Sloane's hideout, bombs are being laid around the APO office Metro. Jack tells them to clean the office while Tom and Dixon sweep the tunnels for the bomb. Marshall and Rachel are tasked with evacuating civilians. Later, Tom finds the bomb and tells that it can not be dismantled because of the unsafe component. He suggests freezing the timer with liquid nitro to extend the countdown. Peyton travels to zurich and meets with members of the Prophet Five. Standing in the middle of the room and expected to present the amulet, Peyton opens the briefcase and pulls out two semi-automatic weapons. It kills all members of prophet 5 and their bodyguards who have arrived soon. When the last of the civilians was cleared from the tunnel, Jack tells Tom to get off the train and flee to safety. Instead, Tom asked to be patched up by Rachel. He tells Rachel that if they had more time, he'd invite her out. Feeling that Tom is giving his life for this cause, Rachel with tears in his eyes responds that she would say yes. At this point the building explodes. Sloan holds the amulet against the light. He tells Sidney that she's not allowed to see it, and he shoots on the icy ground she's standing on. Syd falls to the end and is unconscious. Season 5: 17 - All the Time in the World (OAD: 05/22/2006) Vaughn finds the unconscious Sydney and manages CPR. In the memoirs, Sidney recalls the time when Jack told her that her mother had died and he asked her to be strong. Sid wakes up. Peyton tells Sloan that she was able to make contact with her ally in Hong Kong, and reveals Rambaldi's sphere of life - they have a deal. When Sark asks if they want to go through this global genocide, Sloan confirms how they look at nuclear missiles. At a security hotel in Sienna, Sydney recalls her childhood where she collected the building blocks she found lying around. Not realising that this was part of the Christmas project - designed to test people's ability to be operatives, Sydney shows her father what she did. Jack tells her she's a special girl. Later, Sydney reads a report in which two missiles were stolen, and suggests Sloan's involvement. Sid concludes that if Sloan had killed all the members of the Prophet of the Five, he should have all their assets and would have bought these missiles from someone. Marshall then hacks into the Russian banking network and looks at the phone records. They find Peyton by satellite. Vaughn, Dixon and Sidney interrogate Peyton, where she reveals that she doesn't know where the missiles are stored now, but she knows that Sloan is targeting two cities with a high concentration of civilians. Jack notes that Sloan is not interested in destruction - he wants to benefit from the reconstruction. Sydney also learns that Sloan is in Mongolia. As Sid prepares to fly to Mongolia, Rachel reports that she and Marshall are trying to hack optical satellites to find the rockets. Later they realize that hacked the network with information downloaded from contact in Hong Kong. When Dixon interrogates, Peyton reveals who their contact is. Sloan and Sark enter a cave in Mongolia. Later, Sloan says the next step for him alone is to do. Sloan rides down to the chamber, which turns out to be Rambaldi's burial ground - and filled with reverence, he takes the sphere and puts it on top of Rambaldi's tomb. The sphere of life glows and activates The device of Muller Rambaldi with a red hovering ball. Vaughn, Sid and Jack enter the camp outside Rambaldi's tomb. Sid sneaks into an underground cell and holds Sloan at gunpoint. Meanwhile, Vaughn and Jack are surrounded by Sark and his men. Sid grabs rambaldi's sphere and the liquid from the steaming ball falls to the ground. When she is about to destroy him, Sark arrives, holding Vaughn and Jack hostage. Now that Sid is at gunpoint, Sloan urges her to return the sphere. Sloan turns around and shoots Jack. Sid throws a sphere to go to Jack, and Vaughn uses this opportunity to hit the guards and fight with his captors. Sid shoots Sloan several times, and Sloan falls into a puddle of liquid that came from Rambaldi's device. He dies, and Sark takes the sphere. Syd blinks back to when she hands her father one of her first salaries. When she mentions that she has started working for Credit Dauphin, Jack tells her to quit immediately. Embarrassed, Sidney claims that she will do what she wants and what she considers best for her. They take the seriously wounded Jack out of the cell, where they are trying to perform first aid. Vaughn reports that Sloan is dead, and Sark must be on his way to their contact in Hong Kong with Rambaldi. Vaughn adds that it's Irina Derevko. The team later receives a message that while Marshall may have access to the launch protocol, they cannot stop the initialization sequence. Jack advises them to go to Hong Kong. When Sid wants to stay, Jack urges that she is the only one who can stop her mother. He adds that he never wanted this life for Sydney, but Sydney is too driven and strong to let anyone stop it. Sid tells his father that he loves him and leaves hesitantly. In Hong Kong, Sark comes to Irina and reports that the missiles are ready. When Irina tells him to aim at London and Washington, Sark goes to the control room, where he orders his people to initiate the countdown. When Sydney arrives, Irina tells her that power is the only currency - and through Rambaldi, they can live forever. Sid and Irina fight fiercely. Meanwhile, Vaughn breaks into the control room where Sark is, and they engage in battle. Vaughn shoots Sarka and demands that the code stop the rocket launch. With Marshall's help, the launch is interrupted. Meanwhile, in Mongolia, bullet holes in Sloan heal and he recovers to life. When it starts from the camera, the camera, Jack stops him. Jack apologises for not believing in Rambaldi, but since Sloane caused Sydney so much pain, he is determined not to let Sloane do it again. When Sloan says he can no longer suffer in his immortality, Jack points out that he can keep him in this underground cave with him. He lights up explosives and chamber caves. Still in battle, Sidney and Irina end up on the roof deck. Sydney then kicks Irina and she falls on top of the glass roof. When Sid calls her mother to crawl towards her, as the glass roof can't hold her weight, Irina insists on grabbing the rambaldi sphere, which rolled within inches of her. As she moved forward, the glass broke, and Irina fell through the roof and died. In Mongolia, half of Sloan's body is buried under the rubble, but he is alive - no one around hears his calls for help. He talks to the ghost of Nadia, who tells him that now he has all the time in the world and she will not be there to keep him in company. She's disappearing. Years later, seven-year-old Isabelle plays by the ocean. When Dixon arrives, Vaughn and Sid leave their beach house to greet him. When Dixon asks Sid to help with the assignment, Vaughn offers to discuss it after dinner. Meanwhile, Isabel finds wooden building blocks - the same ones that Sydney played with that made Jack realize Sydney's innate ability to be an agent. Isabelle collects blocks easily and ends up with Sydney, Vaughn and Dixon for a walk on the beach.
