All Silent Auction bids will close at 7:00pm HST that evening, or as announced by the Auctioneer. SILENT AUCTION BIDDING PROCEDURES Bidding this year will be conducted using the Handbid auction app. Instructions for downloading and using the Handbid app are included on Page 3 of this catalog. Please read the description and conditions of sale in this auction catalog or the Handbid app carefully before bidding. Inclusions, blackouts and use dates may vary from one item to another. All details have been provided directly by the donor. To bid, users select the item of interest, enter the amount of their bid and then tap “Bid Now.” Please note that credit card information must already be submitted in order to bid. Once the bid is submitted, the user will receive a notification if they are outbid. Large screens in the reception area will feature the total value of bids and progress toward the Silent Auction goal. Upon the close of the Silent Auction, if a user currently holds the highest bid for an item, he/she will be awarded the winning bid for that item. All bids are binding on the bidder at the time of the Silent Auction closing. Bidding will begin at or above the Minimum Bid stated on the display and progress by the incremental amount specified on the display and handheld device. Subsequent bids will be according to the bid increment noted on each individual lot display. Bidders may also enter Maximum Bid amounts, if desired. Handbid will then automatically bid on the bidder’s behalf, until this amount is reached. With the automated bidding system, the highest bid entered for each specific lot at the time of closing on the evening of June 17, 2017, will win the Auction lot.
