ROSEBURN TO Overview of route LEITH WALK Roseburn to Leith Walk CYCLE LINK

Cycling is an increasingly popular way to get around Edinburgh, around 45,000 bike trips are made HAVE YOUR SAY in the city each day. As part of its strategy of prioritising healthy and sustainable travel, the Council is committed to making it easier for even more people to get around by bike. A key part of our strategy is delivering a network of ‘QuietRoutes’. These aim to make getting around by bike a realistic choice for many more people by separating cyclists from heavy or fast traffic. Several existing cycle routes converge at Roseburn and we are planning protected cycle tracks on Leith Walk and Leith Street. An important component of the QuietRoutes network is to join these existing and planned facilities through the heart of the City Centre, with links to Haymarket Station, Rutland Square, Lothian Road and North Bridge. You can see detailed drawings of the proposed route, and further information online at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/ roseburntoleith. Have your say Feedback and Public Events. See back page
