DAY 02 NEGOMBO – PINNAWALA – DAMBULLA 04 HRS 15 MIN DRIVE (B/L/D) ▪ After breakfast proceed to Dambulla ▪ En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. At this orphanage you will find elephants of all ages that have been abandoned. ▪ Activities: ▪ Milk feeding – 09.15 am to 09.45 am / 01.15 pm to 01.45 pm ▪ Elephant bathing at river – 10.00 am to 12.00 pm / 02.00 pm to 04.00 pm ▪ Lunch at a restaurant. Thereafter proceed to Dambulla to visit Dambulla Cave Temple. Dinner and overnight stay in Sigiriya/Dambulla. You can prolong your boat journey by following the canal onto the sea, where you can continue onwards to Negombo where you can stop at the town, do some shopping and return via boat to Waikkal. 2nd biggest Fish Market in Sri Lanka The Negombo Fishing Village, also known as the Lellama by the locals, is located across the lagoon bridge, near the Old Dutch Gate. The large open air fish market is the second largest in the country.
