THE ITINERARY

DAY 01 AIRPORT – NEGOMBO APPROX 20 MIN DRIVE (D)

▪ You will be welcomed by our guide at the airport and proceed to Negombo. ▪ Check in to hotel and relax. If your time permits make a short city tour in Negombo. ▪ Visit a catholic church, a Buddhist temple & a fishing village. Dinner and overnight stay in Negombo.

DAY 02 NEGOMBO – PINNAWALA – DAMBULLA 04 HRS 15 MIN DRIVE (B/L/D)

▪ After breakfast proceed to Dambulla ▪ En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. At this orphanage you will find elephants of all ages that have been abandoned. ▪ Activities: ▪ Milk feeding – 09.15 am to 09.45 am / 01.15 pm to 01.45 pm ▪ Elephant bathing at river – 10.00 am to 12.00 pm / 02.00 pm to 04.00 pm ▪ Lunch at a restaurant. Thereafter proceed to Dambulla to visit Dambulla Cave Temple. Dinner and overnight stay in Sigiriya/Dambulla.

DAY 03 VILLAGE TOUR (B/L/D)

▪ Breakfast at the hotel. ▪ Visit a local village in the area. ▪ Evening at leisure at the hotel. ▪ Optional activities: Make a jeep safari at Minneriya / Kaudulla National Park – 45 USD per person Dinner and overnight stay in Sigiriya/Dambulla.

DAY 04 SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS – MATALE – KANDY APPROX 03 HRS 30 MIN DRIVE (B/L/D)

▪ After breakfast proceed to Sigiriya ▪ Visit the Sigiriya rock fortress. ▪ Thereafter drive to Kandy. ▪ En route visit a spice garden to see many different types of spices Sri Lanka is famous for.

▪ In Kandy, visit Upper lake and popular market places where vegetables and fruits from other parts of the country are distributed.

▪ And some leisure time for shopping you can also visit Art And craft centre, Gem Museum with the Batik factory. ▪ View a cultural dance show in the evening. ▪ Thereafter visit the Temple of Tooth Relic for evening pooja ceremony and invoke blessings. Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.

DAY 05 KANDY – PERADENIYA – RAMBODA - NUWARA ELIYA 03 HRS 30 MIN DRIVE (B/L/D)

▪ Breakfast at hotel. ▪ Visit Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya. ▪ En-route to Nuwara Eliya you will visit a factory of the popular Sri Lankan Tea and one of the most beautiful water falls in Sri Lanka known as Ramboda water fall. ▪ After the lunch you will explore “Little England” a city tour with option to walk around the streets and to complete with a lake, race track, well- kept lawns with hedges, an Anglican Church and an 18 hole golf course.

▪ Optional: Enjoy a train ride from Kandy to Nanu Oya – 12 USD per person (Seat reservations on train journeys will be subject to availability, as there are limited seats in the tourist wagon). ▪ You will reach Nanu Oya and your chauffer guide will meet you at the Nanu Oya station, which has been serving Nuwara Eliya for over a century. Thereafter your guide will transfer you to Nuwara Eliya. Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya. DAY 06 NUWARA ELIYA – ELLA - YALA 04 HRS 15 MIN DRIVE (B/L/D)

▪ After breakfast leave for Yala. ▪ En route stop at Ella. Ella is surrounded by hills covered with cloud forests and tea plantations. ▪ Lunch at a restaurant. ▪ Proceed to Yala. In the evening visit Kataragama Temple. Kataragamam temple is a temple complex dedicated to Buddhist guardian deity Kataragama Deviyo and Hindu War God Murugan. Dinner and overnight stay in Yala.

DAY 07 YALA – GALLE – HIKKADUWA - SOUTH WEST BEACH 04 HRS 45 MIN DRIVE (B/L/D)

▪ Early morning make a jeep safari at Yala National Park. ▪ Return to hotel and enjoy your breakfast. ▪ After breakfast, now time to leave for the south west coast of Sri Lanka where you find amazing beach at Dickwella, Tangalla, Matara and Mirissa.

▪ En route see the Stilt Fishing. ▪ After you will find the Dutch kingdom in Galle ▪ Lunch at a restaurant. ▪ At Hikkaduwa make a glass bottom boat ride Dinner and overnight stay in South West Beach.

DAY 08 SOUTH WEST BEACH – COLOMBO - AIRPORT 03 HRS DRIVE (B/L/D)

▪ After breakfast, morning at leisure by the beach. ▪ Early afternoon leave for Colombo.

▪ En route visit a Turtle Hatchery. ▪ Proceed to Colombo

▪ Visit Fort, Pettah, Colonial Era remaining, Galle face green, Independence square, BMICH, Replica of Aukana Buddha statue and a buddhist temple, etc. ▪ Theafter enjoy shopping in Colombo. From modern, air conditioned malls to the famously buzzing street markets, there's something for everyone. Knowing where to go is the key to getting the best out of Sri Lanka's shopping haven.
