Here is a complete list of the finalists for the 2019 International Latino Book Awards. ____________________ The International Latino Book Awards is a major reflection that the fastest growing group in the USA has truly arrived. The Awards are now by far the largest Latino cultural Awards in the USA and with the 261 finalists this year in 95 categories, it has now honored the greatness of 2,897 authors and publishers over the past two decades. The size of the Awards is proof that books by and about Latinos are in high demand. In 2019 Latinos will purchase over $725 million in books in English and Spanish. The 2019 Finalists for the 21st Annual International Latino Book Awards are another reflection of the growing quality of books by and about Latinos. About a third of the winners were from major U.S. and int’l publishers, a third from medium sized publishing houses, and a third were from small publishing houses or even self published. In order to handle this large number of books, the Awards had 227 judges in 2019. The judges shared how hard it was because there are now so many great books being published.

(“NHDB”) and PADC Retail, Inc. (“PADC”) (collectively “the Landlords”) for allowance and payment, as part of the cost to cure defaults under their leases, of attorneys’ fees and costs incurred during the pendency of this case. Crown Books Corporation (“the Debtor”) and the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors (“the Committee”) oppose the Motions. For the reasons stated below, we grant the Motions in part. I. FACTUAL BACKGROUND On February 12, 2001, the Debtor filed a petition for relief under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. This was the second bankruptcy filing for the Debtor. At the initial hearing held in the case, the Debtor stated its intention to liquidate all its assets in an expeditious manner. 1 This Opinion constitutes the findings of fact and conclusions of law of the Court pursuant to Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 7052, which is made applicable to contested matters by Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 9014. On February 15, 2001, the Debtor filed a motion for authority to enter into an agency agreement to conduct going out of business (“GOB”) sales at its stores. A hearing on that motion was held on March 2, 2001. Objections were filed by numerous landlords, including NHDB, which raised significant issues regarding the conduct of the GOB sales. An order was ultimately entered granting the motion, in part.2 On March 5, 2001, the Debtor filed a Motion for authority to sell certain assets and to assume and assign certain leases (including the leases with the Landlords).

This study considers the transformation of book retailing in America ca. 1970–95. The major transition was less modal sales venues shifting from Central Business Districts to suburban locations than the rise of extremely broadly merchandised ‘superstores’ and their supporting infrastructure. The paper documents two superficially similar but from a capabilities perspective quite different superstore business models, one identified with Borders and the other with Barnes & Noble. The two companies’ key capabilities originated and developed in distinctive ways, one oriented around the management of information and the other around scale. Complementarities and the persistence of core capabilities are striking features of the organi- zational histories, but so is—over a fairly extended period—evolutionary change. The defendants consented to the entry of the injunctions, which continue, with certain modifications, provisions of a Temporary Restraining Order imposed on March 2, 1995, including an asset freeze and an order for an accounting. The Court has continued the Temporary Restraining Order in effect against the remaining defendant pending entry of a Preliminary Injunction. The Commission alleged violations of the antifraud and registration provisions of the securities laws arising from the defendants' scheme to raise money through a newspaper advertising campaign in which they promised investors a return double that of any other investment vehicle through an unspecified investment program using pooled investor funds. The defendants represented that investors can earn profits of up to 15% per week through the program and that they will leverage investors' funds 5 to 1. The Commission further alleged that the defendants have misrepresented the risk involved in the program and the history and size of the entity involved in the program. [SEC v.
