Its 46th editi on will be run on 8-11 October 2009 at Macao on the local 1,203 metres long permanent Karti ng circuit located on the Coloane Island. Macao, which became a “Special administrati ve region of the Popular Republic of China” in 1999, is celebrati ng this year the 10th anniversary of its new politi cal statute. Situated on the southern coast of China and almost in front of Hong Kong, Macao can boast a rich and long motor sport culture, parti cularly through its traditi onal Formula 3 GP or, more recently, its rounds counti ng towards the World Touring Car Championship. The “Karti ng” acti vity taking place in Macao has gone crescendo as years went by with the organisati on in 2005 and 2006 of the internati onal Karti ng GP, followed in 2007 and 2008 by CIK-FIA Asia-Pacifi c Championships for the KF1 and KF3 categories.

    Sorry, we are not having spectators during the pa News [June 2020 – Shenington 2020 Restart Plans] This is an important message about the restart procedures for Shenington KRC, please read carefully. First of all the log in to the Alpha online entry system is changing for many drivers, so before anything else set this up please on the new login screen. If you have used an email and password to log in previously, e.g. for the British Kart Championships, then that will continue to work and you won’t need to change. Or you may have already changed for another club. If you used your MSA/Motorsport UK Licence Number to log in then you will now need to reset to use your email and a new password. You must use the email that you have registered with our club otherwise we won’t recognise your membership or previous history. Ignore the password and continue to submit the form, it will then send you a reset password link for you to set up a new password for Alpha. Going forward you will now have a lot more convenience, see later*. Re-starting racing at Shenington: Shenington will restart racing on 18 & 19 July each as a one day meeting with extended practice in the morning then the usual three heats and a final. The 15 & 16 August meeting will follow the same pattern. Saturday classes will be: IAME Cadet, MiniX, Junior X30, Senior X30, KZ2, KZ UK, 250 National Sunday classes will be: Honda Cadet, Junior TKM, TKM Extreme, Formula Libre, TKM Clubman (including the TKM Clubman interclub challenge for July meeting.)
