EMPIRE LIGHTING - GENERAL NOTES

1) All lantern prices listed are for solid copper construction. Lanterns are also available in solid brass for an additional up-charge of 20%. There is a minimum requirement for brass orders of 6 items. All lanterns are unlacquered unless otherwise specified. _ 2) Electric lanterns are U.S. wired. Please specify single candle, double candle, triple candle, or single bulb from the top. Please specify medium or candelabra base socket. If candle, please specify white or drip type candle cover.

3) For gas lanterns, please specify gas, switch type and burner type. Gas Burners are available for natural gas or propane gas. Switches available are manual, electric, and solar sensor. Burners available are single open flame (2000 BTU/Hr), double open flame (4000 BTU/Hr.), single mantle (1,150 BTU/Hr), double mantle (2300 BTU/Hr), triple mantle (3400 BTU/Hr), and where applicable a pilot consumes 400 BTU/Hr. FFD (Flame failure device) is available for commercial and interior installations at an additional price. All gas fixtures are supplied with 1/4 NPT taper thread adapter for your gas line connection. Actual gas supply line sizing will be dependent on distance run. 1/4” is adequate for very short lines. 3/8” is usually recommended, and larger supply may be required for very long distances. Please specify natural gas or propane. If not specified, natural gas burners will be supplied.

4) All lantern accessories are cast aluminum unless otherwise specified, and are supplied in a satin black painted finish. Please specify prime finish only of you want another finish.

6) All glazing will be supplied clear unless otherwise specified.

7) All fixtures are made to order. Please note that orders may take up to 16 to 24 weeks for delivery.
