Due to the proposed expansion, additional 2 floors (X & XI), comprising of 27 flats and 5 yoga & meditation centres will be constructed. The built up area for the additional floors will be 4, 907.86 sq. m., Therefore, the gross built-up area of the project after the expansion will be 24, 410.95 sq. m. Anticipated Environmental Impacts on physical environment: • Increase in fugitive emissions during construction phase. • Increase in traffic levels (construction & post construction phase). • Drainage • Landscape & Visual considerations The impact on physical environment will be temporary in terms of fugitive emissions. Best construction practices will be adhered to minimize the impacts. Guidance on Practices to reduce emission 1. Water Application Water will be applied by variety of methods to mitigate dust generation from the construction site. 2. Design Travelled distances will be minimized for delivery of materials 3. Storage Piles • Storage pile activity will be conducted downwind • Enclosures/ coverings will be used for storage piles • Properly shape storage piles will be considered. 4. Vehicles & • Engines & exhaust systems will be properly maintained. Equipments • Low sulphur diesel (HSD) will be used. • Idling time will be eliminated/ reduced to the minimum • Evaporative losses will be minimized 5. Material Handling & • Mud and dirt track-out and carryout will be controlled properly. Transfer systems • Material drop will be minimized at the transfer point and enclosure • Foam suppression systems will be utilized. • Loads on haul trucks will be secured. • PM emissions from spills will be prevented. • Material handling operations will be minimized. 7. Road Surfaces • On-site vehicle restrictions will be established. • Unpaved roads will be properly maintained. 1.6 Demolition works? No No demolition work will be carried out. 1.7 Temporary sites used for No Temporary housing facility for construction workers construction works or has been provided. Adequate infrastructural facilities housing of construction such as sanitation (including separate toilet (mobile) workers? for male and female workers), drinking water, crèche, cooking fuel, cookers etc has been provided to construction labours.
