amcham | 3 Dear Readers,

Continuing the tradition of promoting products and services of AmCham member companies, I am proud to present the 2012 AmCham Business Directory.

AmCham is a leading business association in Armenia that has over 100 members from various sectors of the economy. AmCham Armenia provides its member companies with many benefits, including networking opportunities and representation of their business interests in relations with the Armenian Government, international organizations and wider business community.

The purpose of the 2012 AmCham Business Directory is to provide the general public with an opportunity to find the right products or services, as well as to introduce AmCham constituency and facilitate member-to-member business.

We are keen to provide you with an updated database of AmCham member companies on an- nual bases and we hope you find it helpful. Sincerely,

Edward Mouradian President American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia

4 | amcham The American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia is the leading business association in the coun- try with around 100 members from all business segments. AmCham has been operating in Ar- menia continuously since 2000. Through advocacy efforts aimed at such areas as tax legislation and customs administration, AmCham represents its members’ business interests in Armenia to the Armenian government, international organizations, and to the wider business community.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia provides an excellent source of information about Armenian business life by publishing the only English-language Business Magazine in Armenia, and by hosting regular member meetings with guest speakers representing the Arme- nian government, international organizations, and business community.

AmCham also organizes social events like its traditional annual Spring Ball and monthly Friday Nights, where its members have a good opportunity to meet each other, network, and just have fun!

AmCham’s mission is to:

• Represent and advocate for the common business interests of its members. • Create a competitive, transparent, free and fair business environment in Armenia. • Promote constructive business relationships between the United States and Armenia. • Facilitate networking and information-sharing among members, and between the member ship and others.

amcham | 5 Dear AmCham Members and Friends,

I congratulate the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia on its second Member Business Directory, and am pleased to highlight the 25% increase in AmCham membership since the first edition of this valuable resource. AmCham is growing not only in numbers but in influence, and the companies listed in this catalogue are important drivers of economic reform and growth in Armenia.

U.S. foreign direct investment in Armenia can be transformative. For example, U.S. information technology firms are not only leveraging Armenia’s rich engineering expertise to create world class outputs, they are educating a new generation of IT experts through cooperative programs with Armenian universities. U.S. firms bring not only their financial investment, but also Ameri- can values of transparent and open business practices to Armenia. The quality, not just quantity, of U.S. firms operating in Armenia is what makes the difference.

AmCham’s members are on the forefront of bringing in new Western partners. You should be proud of your roles in strengthening AmCham’s advocacy and support for foreign direct invest- ment in Armenia. Under AmCham’s umbrella, you have the collective power to address the challenges to doing business in Armenia, to expand opportunities, and to improve Armenia’s overall business climate.

I deeply value the U.S. Embassy’s partnership with AmCham, and the experience and knowledge of its member companies. You are the voice of the American business community here. We want to hear about your successes so we can encourage other American companies to follow. Just as importantly, we want to understand your concerns and support your efforts to make the changes necessary to grow your business and attract new U.S. investment.

As AmCham strengthens its numbers and impact on Armenia’s business sector, we will keep working together to improve Armenia’s investment climate and increase bilateral commercial ties. I look forward to continuing the U.S. Embassy’s important partnership with AmCham in the coming year and celebrating its 100th member. Sincerely,

John A. Heffern U.S. Ambassador to Armenia

6 | amcham Dear AmCham Business Directory Readers,

Welcome to the AmCham Business Directory 2012! AmCham has traditionally been a “one stop shop” for information for international investors and businesses looking for reliable partners in Armenia. I am sure that this publication will serve this purpose and will promote our members both in Armenia and beyond its borders.

AmCham members have increased in number over the past couple of years, approaching the threshold of one hundred companies covering major sectors of the Armenian economy. This membership increase confirms the added-value that AmCham provides to its members. Indeed, AmCham relations with its member companies are mutually beneficial. With each new member, AmCham acquires additional unique expertise and know how, which makes it a stronger and more sustainable organization.

As an advocacy platform for its members, AmCham strives to address their business concerns by cooperating with the Armenian government, international financial structures and the diplo- matic and donor community present in the country. Having the goals of promoting the business environment and attracting U.S. investment in the country, AmCham addresses major challeng- es of a systemic nature facing international companies in Armenia.

AmCham enjoys strong relations with the U.S. Embassy in Armenia and is thankful to for their continuous support and cooperation in promoting business environment to the benefit of U.S., international and local companies.

With best regards,

Diana Gaziyan
