This study researches cultural memories of the colonial cities Tsingtau/Quingdao in German-occupied period(1898-1914), Japan-occupied period(1914-1922,1938-1945) and Post World War II,and Yantai which was in1858 opened. We regard these cities als media of cultural memory and analyze architecture, journals, literature, photos, film,oral history, etc.from German, Japanease, and Chinese view. 6.
