Instructions to configure Microsoft Entourage to work with the new exchange server email system
1 Step One: Begin by getting a copy of Microsoft Office 2004 from the MCC Portal site listed below as you will need Microsoft Entourage version 11.x.x to access the MCC Exchange Server. https://mymcc.middlesex.mass.edu/webapps/portal/frameset.jsp?tab_id=_135_1 Log in using the same user ID and password that you now use for your email account.

Installation Instructions: Once you have obtained the software install it by dragging it in to the Applications Folder on your hardrive then locate and launch Entourage. You may be prompted to update it online as soon as you launch it for the first time. After the update download is complete you will be asked to quit Entourage, do so and continue with the install.
After it is installed launch Entourage again. It will prompt you to configure it. Decline the assistant configuration option and select Manual Configuration instead. If you can not locate the manual configure option, continue until the application opens and then go up to the Entourage Menu, found on the top left next to the Apple icon, and select Account Settings.
2 Under the “New” Menu select “Exchange” and continue by filling in the fields according to the remaining diagrams in this document.

4 These last two can be left at the defaults.
5 Your Account Settings window will now look like this, and you can customize your personal settings as you choose in the Preferences window.
On page 79 of the document entitled Discovering Microsoft Office you will find instructions on the use of Entourage.
Welcome to the new MCC Exchange Server mail systen and Entourage. I think that you will that is has some very useful features, that were not formerly available to us. You will find that we have lost a First Class feature or two, but I have found that Entourage provides an overall gain in usability.
