FACTOTUM CLASS DUNGEONS & DRAGONS, D&D, Wizards of the Coast, Forgotten Realms, the dragon ampersand, and all other Wizards of the Coast product names, and their respective logos are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast in the USA and other countries. This work contains material that is copyright Wizards of the Coast and/or other authors. Such material is used with permission under the Community Content Agreement for Dungeon Masters Guild. All other original material in this work is copyright 2016 by Jeremy Wadsworth of Bear Incorporated Sample file and published under the Community Content Agreement for Dungeon Masters Guild. Forward This is my Homebrewed conversion of the Factotum class from the D&D 3.5 Book Dungeonscape: An Essential Guide to Dungeon Adventuring (2007) by Jason Bulmahn and Rich Burlew. In the spirit of this wonderful class and D&D 5e, I have also combined it with two Prestige classes that go with this class very well as Archetypes. These “Archetypes” are the Chameleon and Master of Masks Prestige Classes. The Chameleon Prestige Class is from the D&D 3.5 Book Races of Destiny (2004) by David Noonan, Eric Cagle, and Aaron Rosenberg. The Master of Masks Prestige Class is from the D&D 3.5 Book Complete Scoundrel: A Player’s Guide to Trickery and Ingenuity (2007) by Mike McArtor and F. Wesley Schneider. I would recommend these books to anybody, and hope that every D&D Player has the privilege of reading these fine books. I am sorry if anything I do is in anyway problematic with Copyright issues, but it seems fine according to what the DM Guild information page at www.dmsguild.com/whatisdmsguild.php says under the section “What Can I Publish?”, which says “you can convert magic items, monsters, character classes, spells, etc.

  • The Beastfolk in Them
The BBeaeaeaeastfolk stfolk Anthropomorphic races for the d20 system s ’ Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 and 4e4e4e By Gideon Kalve Jarvis Author’s notes Dungeons & Dragons and related material is copyright Wizards of the Coast, Incorporated. This work is copyright Gideon Kalve Jarvis and may be distributed (and this author encourages it), so long as the author’s name is retained. Whether through the machinations of wizards or the meddling of the gods or simply the quirks of fate, a world can quickly become awash in sentient species, each one trying in its own fashion to find and defend a niche, however small and specialized. Of these many sentient spspecies, ecies, a great many take traits from the nonsentient animals, or are related to them directly. The races below are a collection of several of the more common of these beastfolk. Unless otherwise noted, the races below use the human charts for aging. For those players wishing to add even more variety to their games, the official Wizards of the Coast work, Savage Species , can be invaluable in turning monster races into playable characters, though the rules in that volume sometimes requires a little tweaking for perfection in a given campaign. Later writings in this vein may (if there is any interest shown) include a listing of these races, as well as their statistical information. Also, the various “Races” books (Races of Stone , Races of the Wild , Races of Destiny , Races of the Dragon , etcetera) are also very useful resources for playing a variety of new and interesting species, some of which only require the lightest tweaking in order to turn them more “furry” in nature, if they are not already so (as I do with Raptorans and Catfolk, from Races of the Wild , in making the birdfolk and the urban catfolk, presented below).

  • Masters of the Sword: a Warblade's Handbook
Masters of the Sword: A Warblade’s Handbook [Resurrected and Under Construction] Never give a sword to a man who can't dance. - Confucius Why Play a Warblade? Warblades, introduced in Tome of Battle: The Book of Nine Swords, are one of the three martial adept classes. They‟re also arguably the strongest of the three, pure warriors who are exemplars of sheer martial skill – and they certainly don‟t fail to meet expectations. Here are just a few of the selling points for the warblade. - They're free to play. Wizards of the Coast kindly provided the full warblade class on their website, along withmaneuver cards, which can help streamline play. - You‟re as good as it gets. Before we even get to maneuvers and all that good stuff, you have a d12 hit die and full BAB. - You have efficient use of the action economy. A higher level wizard can move, fire off a spell as a standard action, cast another swift action spell, and still use an immediate action in response to his opponent. Fighters move and attack. That's pretty much it. Warblades can move, initiate a standard-action strike for respectable damage, mix a swift-action boost into this somewhere and still perform a counter when it's not their turn. - You have class features. Actual class features. And good ones at that: a boatload of bonus feats to help you deal with prereqs or just provide nice benefits. Plus, the Battle line of features provides some very handy bonuses in general combat, along with great Int synergy.
