With effect from 1 June 2013, the Patent Registry Office (PRO) will be known as the Brunei Darussalam Intellectual Property Office (BruIPO) and will be responsible for the registration of patents, industrial designs and trademarks. 2. The Brunei Darussalam Intellectual Property Office (BruIPO) is an Office under the Energy and Industry Department, Prime Minister’s Office (EIDPMO) and its premises with effect from the 1 January 2016 is situated at the following address: Brunei Darussalam Intellectual Property Office (BruIPO) D & T Building, Simpang 32-37, Anggerek Desa Technology Park Jalan Berakas BB3713, Brunei Darussalam Tel: +673 2380966 │ Fax: +673 2380545 Opening Hours 1. With effect from 4 January 2017, the Brunei Intellectual Property Office (BruIPO) will operate as follows: Monday to Thursday : 7.45am to 12.15pm & Saturday : 1.30pm to 4.30pm Friday CLOSED 2. BruIPO’s counter at the Business Support Centre (BSC) located at Level 1, D&T Building, Anggerek Desa will continue to operate following BSC’s business hours from Monday to Friday. 3. All applications for the registration of trademarks must be lodged with the Registrar of Trademarks at the Brunei Darussalam Intellectual Property Office (BruIPO). 2. Submission of applications via fax is acceptable provided the documents transmitted are clear and legible (in particular, representations). For applications that require the payment of a fee, actual lodgement of the prescribed fee is required before such applications can be processed. Enquiries 1. Breidenthal Aeronautics and Astronautics A wind tunnel experiment was conducted to compare the flight path characteristics and drag of current models of volleyballs. An open circuit low speed wind tunnel was primarily used to gather lift and drag data on multiple models of volleyballs in super-critical Reynolds number flows. The models tested were the Baden VX5E-01, Baden VX450C-230, Baden VX450-02, Mikasa MVA200, and Molten V5M5000. Analysis was conducted to determine the relationship between cavity dimensions on the balls and the lift and drag characteristics of the balls. Conditions were based on indoor volleyball conditions set by the International Federation of Volleyball (FIVB) with Reynolds numbers ranging from 2x10 5 to 4.3x10 5. Recommendations were provided for future designs of volleyballs to improve aerodynamic performance.
