ALL MY SONS a Play in Three Acts by Arthur Miller Characters: Joe Keller
ALL MY SONS a play in three acts by Arthur Miller Characters: Joe Keller (Keller) Kate Keller (Mother) Chris Keller Ann Deever George Deever Dr. Jim Bayliss (Jim) Sue Bayliss Frank Lubey Lydia Lubey Bert Act One The back yard of the Keller home in the outskirts of an American town. August of our era. The stage is hedged on right and left by tall, closely planted poplars which lend the yard a secluded atmosphere. Upstage is filled with the back of the house and its open, unroofed porch which extends into the yard some six feet. The house is two stories high and has seven rooms. It would have cost perhaps fifteen thousand in the early twenties when it was built. Now it is nicely painted, looks tight and comfortable, and the yard is green with sod, here and there plants whose season is gone. At the right, beside the house, the entrance of the driveway can be seen, but the poplars cut off view of its continuation downstage. In the left corner, downstage, stands the four‐foot‐high stump of a slender apple tree whose upper trunk and branches lie toppled beside it, fruit still clinging to its branches. Downstage right is a small, trellised arbor, shaped like a sea shell, with a decorative bulb hanging from its forward‐curving roof. Carden chairs and a table are scattered about. A garbage pail on the ground next to the porch steps, a wire leaf‐burner near it. On the rise: It is early Sunday morning. Joe Keller is sitting in the sun reading the want ads of the Sunday paper, the other sections of which lie neatly on the ground beside him. -

Twitterbrainz What Music Do People Share on Twitter?
TwitterBrainz what music do people share on Twitter? February 15, 2015 Open Data Project Research and Innovation Quim Llimona Àngel Farguell Modelling for Science and Engineering Abstract In this report we present TwitterBrainz, an interactive, real-time visualization of what songs are people posting on Twitter. Our system uses the MusicBrainz and Acous- ticBrainz APIs to identify the songs and extract acoustic metadata from them, which is displayed along with metadata from the tweet itself using a scatterplot metaphor for easy exploration. Clicking one of the dots/tweets/songs plays it back using the Tomahawk API, which can be used for reinventing our app into a music discovery tool. Since we are both musicians, we thought it had to be about visualizing music, in any of its forms. We knew about the AcousticBrainz API, which provides acoustic information about commercial songs, and found in Twitter a great opportunity for integration. The original idea was to find tweets from users that referenced the user was listening to a particular song, find metadata about that song, and then plot the metadata along with features extracted from the tweet itself, looking for correlations. For instance, one could expect that in work days people listen to more relaxed music than during the weekend. -

So, I’ll be candid in saying that this is my eighth attempt at writing it. I’ve started and stopped, deleted and retyped, closed my laptop and reopened it. Never in my life have I found it this difficult to write, never in my life has my body physically ached at the thought of sitting down and spending time in my own headspace. Right now, my headspace is the last place on earth I want to be. I’ve decided that this will be my last attempt at writing, and whatever comes out now will remain on the page. I am currently sitting on my couch under a pile of blankets, reclined back as far as my seat will allow me to go. My Amazon Alexa is belting music from an oldies playlist, and my dad is sitting at the kitchen table singing along to “December, 1963” by The Four Seasons as he works. -

The Muppets Take the Mcu
THE MUPPETS TAKE THE MCU by Nathan Alderman 100% unauthorized. Written for fun, not money. Please don't sue. 1. THE MUPPET STUDIOS LOGO A parody of Marvel Studios' intro. As the fanfare -- whistled, as if by Walter -- crescendos, we hear STATLER (V.O.) Well, we can go home now. WALDORF (V.O.) But the movie's just starting! STATLER (V.O.) Yeah, but we've already seen the best part! WALDORF (V.O.) I thought the best part was the end credits! They CHORTLE as the credits FADE TO BLACK A familiar voice -- one we've heard many times before, and will hear again later in the movie... MR. EXCELSIOR (V.O.) And lo, there came a day like no other, when the unlikeliest of heroes united to face a challenge greater than they could possibly imagine... STATLER (V.O.) Being entertaining? WALDORF (V.O.) Keeping us awake? MR. EXCELSIOR (V.O.) Look, do you guys mind? I'm foreshadowing here. Ahem. Greater than they could possibly imagine... CUT TO: 2. THE MUPPET SHOW COMIC BOOK By Roger Langridge. WALTER reads it, whistling the Marvel Studios theme to himself, until KERMIT All right, is everybody ready for the big pitch meeting? INT. MUPPET STUDIOS The shout startles Walter, who tips over backwards in his chair out of frame, revealing KERMIT THE FROG, emerging from his office into the central space of Muppet Studios. The offices are dated, a little shabby, but they've been thoroughly Muppetized into a wacky, cozy, creative space. SCOOTER appears at Kermit's side, and we follow them through the office.
