A 7 - 1 iii INTRODUCTION Lake Jackson Mounds Archaeological State Park is located in central Leon County, just north of the City of Tallahassee, on the southwestern end of Lake Jackson. The park contains a total of 204.94 acres (see Vicinity Map). Access to the park is from Crowder Road and Indian Mound Road, approximately 1.5 miles north of the junction of Interstate 10 and U.S. Highway 27.
