Nino Schembri Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Nino schembri brazilian jiu jitsu Continue A very early pioneer in jiu-jitsu, Nino invented and popularized many of the techniques that are in everyone's game today. It is best known for its use of homo dress, which has not previously been seen as an effective technique. Nino used his flexibility and creativity to greatly add to the setups and sweep options from the core Omoplata presentation. In addition to the Omoplata, often referred to as king, Nino was one of the first grapplers recorded with the help of the Lasso Guard, the Resin Guard, and the Goghoplat. Nino really is one of the great innovators from the early days of sport, his name may not be that well known anymore, but his influence will forever be felt on BJJ mats. Achievement Nino is a true innovator of the sport of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, which has helped popularize many positions still used today. Nino is often considered one of the best guard players of all time. He revolutionized Omoplata by transforming it from a low representation percentage into a whole system of attacks and sweeps. He was one of the first to use lasso Guard and was one of the first users of what would become a rubber guard. Along with his constant innovations, Nino was also a major competitor, winning numerous MMA titles and fights throughout his career. 1998 World Champion 1997 World Champion 1996 Brazilian National Champion - Absolute Division Nino Schembri Omoplata Terror Instruction Nino has been teaching jiu-jitsu full time since 2004, when he became a BJJ instructor at the Chute Box Academy in Brazil. -

The phenomenon of MMA in the contemporaneity: an essay on the relationship between its diffusion and the youth public Thabata Castelo Branco Telles, Cristiano Roque Antunes Barreira, Luciana Ferreira Ângelo Abstract The present work aimed at analyzing Bill 5.534/2009 of the federal deputy José Mentor (PT-SP), whose proposal was aimed at "prohibiting the television broadcasting of any violent martial fight", with emphasis on the MMA (mixed martial arts) and its potential negative impact on child and adolescent viewers. -

Sport Department 2014 Annual Report February 2015 | Rio De Janeiro
Sport Department 2014 Annual Report February 2015 | Rio de Janeiro Sport Department 2014 Annual Report February 2015 | Rio de Janeiro © Getty Images/Christian Petersen Rio de Janeiro, February 2015 In 2014, the Sport team continued its transition from the planning to the operational phase without looking back, focusing on the goal of delivering excellent Games. In doing so, I can say with great pride that the department continues to solidify its position as a leader within the Rio 2016 Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Throughout 2014, the Sport department grew and underwent important changes. In July, Rodrigo Garcia was appointed as Sport Director to enhance and facilitate interaction within the team, as well as to help take the lead on key decisions that impact Sport within the Organising Committee. I am also happy to report that the majority of the Sport managers are now on board full-time, while other areas within the department continue to welcome new members. As the department grew, it also expanded its knowledge and strengthened its relationship with other FAs, showing that we serve as a reference base for planning and operations in other areas throughout the committee. Rio 2016 Sport continued to build its relationship with the International Federations (IFs), maintaining a close partnership and working together to meet their needs and expectations, in order to be able to assist in successfully delivering the test events and Games. The Aquece Rio International Sailing Regatta 2014, the first test event, was held in August at Marina da Glória, just one of many major events for us. -

Dux Ryu Gendai Bujitsu Training (OFCC Version)
Dux Ryu Gendai Bujitsu Training (OFCC Version) Senzo Tanaka Research Here are the public findings on Senzo Tanaka and other related materials. All links related to this research will be posted below with corresponding links numbered in parenthesis. I would like to thank a dear friend who chooses to remain nameless for his collaboration and supporting findings regarding the Tanaka clan research. We decided to see if it was possible to actually find documents or anything providing proof of Senzo Tanaka, Hanshi Frank Dux’s Ninjutsu instructor. Our means of research are only limited to the Internet as I live in a rural area and don’t have the ability to go to travel or visit Japan. One of our passions is genealogy and we thought we would try that approach with researching Senzo Tanaka. We really only had his name, a rough age, where he resided in California, and a rough date of when he passed away. We started out with a simple search in familysearch.com of Senzo Tanaka and inputted the death year. We then found a death certificate through their site (Link #1). There we was given a date of birth (19 December 1888), the date he passed away (September of 1975), and his age (87 years old). In familysearch’s death record there is a zip code of XX723. We believe that is actually 90723, a zip code in Los Angeles County, California. Once we had that information we was able to do a more precise search. We entered in the newfound information and was given an immigrant passenger list from Japan to San Francisco, California (Link #2).
