We will also consider examples of not-aging as one of the ways in which the performance of gender is still most closely controlled. We will examine recorded musical and live performances, interviews, journalism, and critical theory in order to evaluate and parse ideas of social value and cultural history. 3. In the Orphic tradition of Greek myth, this event involves a golden-winged deity named Phanes. In Aztec myth, this event occurred after the humble god Nanahuatzin [nah-nah-watt-zin] jumped into the sun in the Legend of the Fifth Sun. In Norse myth, this event occurs in Ginnungagap, where the cow Audhumla suckles the giant (*) Ymir. Many myth systems involve a “cosmic egg” in this event, and Hesiod’s Theogony describes this event in Greek mythology, where gods spontaneously rose from Chaos. For 10 points, name this event that occurred in six days at the beginning of the Book of Genesis. ANSWER: creation of the world [or origin of the world; or start of the world; or cosmogony; or birth of the cosmos; or birth of the world; accept any other equivalents] <AH> Ed. TH 2. Joshua and Esther Lederberg are best known for their experiments with an organism that infects this organism. Labeling this organism’s DNA with nitrogen 14 and 15 was used to demonstrate that DNA replication is semiconservative in the Meselson-Stahl experiment. The O157:H7 strain of this organism can cause hemolytic uremic [yu-rem-ik] syndrome. The lambda (*) phage and T4 phages infect this model organism. Diarrhea and other symptoms of food poisoning can result from infection by these organisms. For 10 points, name this gram-negative rod-shaped bacteria that lives in the small intestine.

Chisolm: Whose Song Is That? Searching For Equity and Inspiration For Musi Whose Song Is That? Searching For Equity and Inspiration For Music Vocalists Under the Copyright Act Tuneen E. Chisolm6 19 YALE J.L. & TECH. 274 (2017) This article examines some of the inherent inequities that exist for music vocalists under the United States Copyright Act and related music industry practices, due to the limited scope of protection given to sound recordings and the absence of an express inclusion of nondramatic music performance as a protected work under Section 102(a). It argues for expansion of the rights afforded to include, for musicvocalists with respect to nondramatic works, an inalienable copyright, separatefrom the sound recording copyright, based upon a sole right of authorship in their performance as an applied composition, oncefixed. It alsoargues for a restriction of thesound recording copyright to limit derivative works thereof to use of the integrated whole, thereby enabling thevocalist to control the use of an isolated vocal performance and the resulting applied composition embodied therein. eTuneen E. Hardcore punk-rock had been mostly a male phenomenon. Girls were excluded from hardcore the same way they were excluded in society from many other male-only rituals, whether street gangs or USA football. The "riot grrrrls" movement of the 1990s changed the sociopolitical landscape of punk-rock by introducing the "girl factor" into the equation of frustration/ depression/ desperation/ anger. The riot-grrrrls movement originated largely in and around Seattle (Olympia, to be precise), and indeed it was Seattle that boasted the most fertile scene for female-only bands. The movement's manifesto was the article "Women, sex and rock and roll", published by "Puncture" in 1989. The first radio program to address the angry young girls was "Your Dream Girl", conducted by Lois Maffeo on Olympia's KAOS. One of the earliest riot-grrrrls was Molly Neuman, who joined Allison Wolfe to create the fanzine "Girl Germs", one of the main alternative media for college girls. In the summer of 1991 they celebrated themselves at the Olympia campus, shouting their slogan "Revolution Girl Style Now!" The mood had been changing throughout the 1980s: the magazine "Sassy" had been founded already in 1987 as an alternative, not afraid to tackle brutal themes, to the conventional magazines for teenage girls.

  • Jim Morrison Występował W”Diabelsko” Obcisłych Skórzanych Spodniach, to Już Iggy Pop Śpiewał Z Gołym Torsem
W radiu i teraz w książce pojawiają się przecież Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, Flea z Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Lydon z Sex Pistols i PIL.
