The story of the Olympics This year the Olympic games were to be held in Japan and start this month. They were cancelled for the 4th time in their history. Instead they will be held next year! This is the list of sports at the 1900 Olympics Archery Women can do any of these sports, Athletics but were not considered as able as Basque Pelota men. In some countries in 1900, Cricket Women were still not allowed to Croquet vote in elections. Cycling Now, women are treated far more Equestrian equally and take part in the same Fencing sports. Football Gymnastics (Artistic) Golf Polo Rowing Rugby union Sailing Shooting Swimming Tennis Tug of war Water Polo The volcano did not damage Rome, but damaged nearby Naples. The Olympic flag has a white background, with five interlaced rings in the centre: blue, yellow, black, green and red. it represents the five continents of the world, united by Olympism, while the six colours are those that appear on all the national flags of the world at the present time The Olympic Flame travels from Greece to the Opening Ceremony and lights the Cauldron. It the end of the Games there is a closing ceremony and the flames are put out.

From a center of the Industrial Revolution, a major European port of capitalism and the birthplace of Basque nationalism and political violence, Bilbao turned into a post-Fordist paradigm of globalization and gentrification. Beyond traditional axes of identification that create social divisions, what unites Basques in Bizkaia province is a soccer team with a philosophy unique in the world of professional sports: Athletic only recruits local Basque players. Playing local becomes an important source of subjectivization and collective identity in one of the best soccer leagues (Spanish) of the most globalized game of the world. This dissertation takes soccer for a cultural performance that reveals relevant anthropological and sociological information about Bilbao, the province of Bizkaia, and the Basques. Early in the twentieth century, soccer was established as the hegemonic sports culture in Spain and in the Basque Country; it has become a multi- billion business, and it serves as a powerful political apparatus and symbolic capital.

World Cups shall only take place in the Absolute category. Absolute World Championships shall take place every FOUR YEARS; Under-22 and World Cups shall be spread in three annual phases that will coincide with each of the three years spanning between the Absolute World Championships. The three annual phases of the Under-22 World Championship shall be a unique cycle, identified with the corresponding ordinal number. ART. 2ND The granting or allocation of the location for a World Championship or Cup shall be agreed by the relevant body by simple majority after reviewing the submitted applications from national federations keen to organise the event. ART. 3RD Three months before the relevant international competition is held, the facilities must be finished and they must comply with the fronton court technical specifications, pursuant to the FIPV's Game Regulations.
