Dear Parishioners of St Mary’s Church,

We are working on developing Pentre Schools’ Distinctive Church School character .One of the main aims of a Church School is that it is inclusive. With this in mind we would like ALL stakeholders – pupils, staff, parents, governors, church and the community to participate in one project together. We are asking everyone to provide a small piece of material 7.5 cm x 7.5cm( the size of a post it) which is significant to them. This could be due to the colour, pattern, shape.Or it could be a photograph of part of the material if it is a special item still in use or of value. Please could you write your name and why the material is important to you. The materials will be attached to the shape of a cross to be displayed in school. The notes will be displayed around the cross.

We hope you will enjoy taking part in this project and look forward to inviting you all into school to view the finished display.

Please return post its and material squares to school by Friday 15th June.
