1. Apologies for absence To receive apologies for absence.

9.1 Update on Council Aims and Objectives 2020-2025 No updates since the last meeting.

9.2 Covid-19 update An update following the announcement by the government of a national lockdown commencing on 5 November 2020: North East is currently in Tier 3. Outdoor facilities are open, with signage advising of government guidelines. No groups have returned to use the Parish Hall. The Library is continuing to operate a Click and Collect service.

9.3 Co-option update Woodthorpe Vacancy co-option advertised, closing date 22 December 2020.

9.4 Livestreaming update Trial session held during the Standards and Governance Committee meeting on Monday 7 December 2020. First livestreaming of full Council to take place this evening.

9.5 Christmas Appeal NEDDC are holding a Christmas Appeal; Care At Christmas to provide gifts for local care homes. Collection dates from Wingerworth Parish Hall, Thursday 10 and 17 December 10:00am-1:00pm.

10.1 Chairs Appeal To consider making a donation to the Chair of the District Council’s Appeal; information enclosed.

10.2 Quote to complete actions from Legionella Risk Assessment - £1,540 Additional quotes pending.

10.3 VAT Report £1,200 To accept the recommendations from the Chair of the Council to proceed with expenditure of £1,200 for a report on VAT options for the Council; report enclosed.

10.4 Approval of Precept for 2021/22 To approve the recommendations from the Finance Committee for the Precept requirements for 2021/22; £217,935, report enclosed.

10.5 Statement of Representations on the Proposed Main Modifications to the NEDDC Local Plan Representations on the Proposed main modifications to the NEDDC Local Plan (2014-2034) should be received by Wednesday 23 December 2020; recommendations from Cllrs Coleman, Collins and Broughton circulated and enclosed.

10.6 Avenue Connectivity Proposal from Cllr Hancock to provide support to Big Local with liaising with DCC to get works completed to provide footpath connectivity linking , and Wingerworth; information enclosed.
