. BUSAN NORTH PORT REDEVELOPMENT  Relocation of the port functions is needed as a result of reduction in the competitiveness of traditional berths  Reform the port function : logistics-based port → civil·commercial-based port

- Location : 1~4 berths, international passenger ship terminal etc. - Scale: 1,532,419 m² - Project period : 2008 ~ 2019 - Total Cost : $8.5billion / infrastructure $2.1billion(government, BPA) / facilities $ 6.4billion(private)

Korea has supported establishment of Feasibility Study for Development of Acajutla and La Union  Scope : analysis on development condition, development planning, estimation of projects cost and financial analysis, traffic projection etc.  Schedule : December 2016 ~ April 2018  Korea and El Salvador signed MOU for port development cooperation in August 2015  Details of the Project - Acajutla port : needs of equipment(harbor crane) and additional 2berth construction, and rearrangement of port function - La Union port : improvement of infrastructure (water depth and road-connectivity) and needs of equipment

. Korea has supported establishment of Masterplan for coastal adaptation in Tuvalu, vulnerable to the impact of climate change.

 Scope : analysis on current condition, development planning, estimation of projects cost and financial analysis, etc.  Schedule : August 2017 ~ June 2018  Korea and Tuvalu signed MOU on Port development and coastal protection cooperation in November 2017  Expected Impact : the study will provide a range of measures for coastal protection including eco-system initiatives, beach nourishment, concrete and rock revetments, and sea walls.
