Following receipt of your request searches were conducted within Nottinghamshire Police to locate the information you require. Please find below answers to your questions:- RESPONSE Under S 1 (1) (a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), I can confirm that Nottinghamshire Police does hold the information you have requested. Please send me: The revenue raised through all speed cameras, both static and mobile, in the Bassetlaw district for the last three years. The only revenue raised is by way of a referral fee paid to the police when an offender completes a Speed Awareness course, which is £35.00. If an offender is given a conditional offer (fixed penalty) then this fine is paid direct to central government and the police do not receive any part of it. A total of 18,355 courses were completed by offenders committing speeding offences on Bassetlaw sites during the past three years. Referral fees paid to the police for these were £642,425.00. The three years used for these figures were 2012, 2013 and 2014 (calendar years) I would also like to know the number of fixed penalty notices issued for all static and mobile speed cameras in Bassetlaw (including a breakdown of the corresponding locations of the cameras). Please see below chart which shows Speed Awareness courses completed following offences committed on sites within Bassetlaw and also Fixed Penalty Notices issued. Please note the figure is for FPN’s issued and does not indicate how many were actually paid.
