Supplemental Recruitment Initiatives. Initiatives Date Location Description Titles of Employees Involved Entercom Austin offers internships at the radio stations in our Promotions and Programming departments throughout the year. Interns must be college VP of Programming Periodically Entercom students and receive college credit for the internships. The Promotions Marketing Director 1 Internship Program throughout the Austin, TX Directors and the Programming Directors oversee the internships to evaluate Business Manager year the interns and ensure that they are receiving information and education. Internships are ongoing throughout the year. Once a week, Entercom Austin airs recruitment advertisements on all stations, On-Air EEO Policy and Periodically Business Manager Entercom seeking applicants across all departments. Advertisements inform the Austin 2 Invitation to Receive Job throughout the Production Manager Austin, TX area of Entercom’s EEO policy and invite all organizations to be a part of our Openings year Traffic Manager recruitment process. Marketing Director Four Westlake High School seniors met with the Marketing Director for a General Sales Manager question and answer session, and then received a tour of the facilities. Time Westlake High School February 27, Entercom Creative Services Director 3 was then spent with our General Sales Manager, Creative Services Director, Senior Career Day 2019 Austin, TX KAMX On-Air Talent KAMX On-Air Talent, and Digital Sales Manager who all provided insight on Digital Sales Manager the wide variety of careers radio has to offer. Entercom Austin hosted an open house for our EEO contacts and community Business Manager EEO Breakfast Open March 26, Entercom leaders. Managers discussed the jobs, internship program and career 4 Sales Manager House 2019 Austin, TX opportunities available, and provided an overview on their specific Marketing Director departments. The Audio Division has before it a petition for rulemaking filed by Charles Crawford (“Petitioner”), seeking to amend the FM Table of Allotments by allotting Channel 253A Lometa, Texas, as that community’s second local FM transmission service. In order for Channel 253A to be allotted to Lometa, Petitioner proposes the substitution of Channel 235 for vacant Channel 252A at Richland Springs, Texas. Additionally, to accommodate this allotment, Petitioner also requests the reclassification of Station KELI(FM), Channel 254C, San Angelo, Texas, to specify operation on Channel 254C0,1 and the reclassification of Station KAMX(FM), Channel 234C, Luling, Texas, to specify operation on Channel 234C02 because each station is operating at below minimum Class C facilities. The Commission has before it for consideration the applications to transfer control of the CBS Corporation (“CBS”) and its various licensee subsidiaries to Viacom, Inc. (“Viacom”).1 Petitions to deny the applications were filed by the American Cable Association (“ACA”), the National Black Media Coalition (“NBMC”), the WEYS Television Corporation (“WEYS”), and a group of petitioners objecting to certain broadcasts made by Howard Stern (“the Stern Petitioners”).2 In addition, the A.H. Belo Corporation (“Belo”) filed a letter opposing the applications after the petition to deny period had expired.3 1 A complete list of the applications filed and the licenses to be transferred is attached as Exhibit A. 2 CBS and Viacom argued that the various petitioners do not have standing. However, we have reviewed the petitions and will address the arguments raised in them. In addition to the petitioners to deny, a number of individuals filed letters commenting on the proceeding.
