FISHING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP YOUTH 2012 SLOVENIA RADE ČE – SEVNICA

The Fishing World Championship - Youth 2012 will be held under the auspices of the Fishing Association of Slovenia, organized by the fishing clubs Rade če and Sevnica. The competitions will take place on the river Sava, on the accumulation of Hydroelectric power plant Vrhovo (Rade če) and Boštanj (Sevnica).

COMPETITION VENUE FOR U-14 AND U-23 IN RADE ČE

The members of U-14 will compete at the upper part of the fishing line, located directly under the city Rade če. Descriptions of the sectors, depth of the river 10 meters from the bank: - Sector A, B, C: 6 m - Sector D: 3 m

The lower part of the fishing line will be designed for the members of U-23. They will compete on the same place where the Europe Championship for members in 2009 happened. Description of the sectors, depth of the river 13 meters from the bank: - Sector A, B, C: 4 - 5 m - Sector D: 7,5 m

Sava is normally slow running and around 150 wide, and populated by many fish species such as chub, barbel, roach, carp, bream, bleak, Prussian carp and vimba.

COMPETITION VENUE FOR U-18 IN SEVNICA

The fishing club Sevnica will treat the members of U18. The competition line is located at the sport recreation zone Orehovo on the left side of the river Sava, 3km away from the city Sevnica. The depth of the water, 11,5 meters from the bank is 4 meters in all sectors. The main fish species are roach, chub, Prussian carp, barbel, bream, carp, bleak and vimba.

The competition places got regulated platforms and almost all places are accessible with cars.

BAITS AND GROUNDBAITS

For the U 14 and U 18 : 17 liters groundbaits and 1.5 liters baits, of which a maximum amount of 0.5 liter of aquatic larvae, including maximum 0,25 liter of bloodworms. For the U 23 category : 20 liters groundbaits and 2 liters baits, of which a maximum amount at 1 liter of aquatic larvae, including maximum 0.5 liter of bloodworms. In groundbaits are included all extras such as: soil, sand, corn, etc. On the day of the competition (for the bait control), baits and groundbaits must be prepared and placed in prescribed buckets. The organizer of the event allows the use of coloured maggots. All baits will be delivered by the official supplier every day at the competition lines.

Coarse fishing -Youth U-14 10.00 m Coarse fishing -Youth U-18 11.50 m Coarse fishing -Youth U-23 13.00 m

OUR LOCATION

Rade če and Sevnica are 80 km away from our capital Ljubljana and 70 km away from the Croatia capital Zagreb. Rade če and Sevnica lay in the middle of Slovenia, by the railway Ljubljana-Zagreb and on the main road Zagreb-Celje.

Nearby airports are in Trieste in Italy, Vienna in Austria and Zagreb in Croatia.

Tuesday, July the 24th of 2012:

08.00 a.m. – 10.00 a.m. drawing lots of the boxes at the fishing club Rade če. Sectors for training will be drawn on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 during presentations of respective national teams. Sectors for the teams which will not manage to get to the spot on time will be drawn by the FIPSed representative or by the representative of the organizer.

Trainings in the following days will take part according to the official schedule based on Tuesday drawing.

PRICE LIST AND REGISTRATION FEE FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP 2012

Price for one team: 1.100,00 € (including 8 closing gala dinners and 5 fishing permits) for participation of a single team in the “YOUTH” championship, from which € 350 will be deducted as a F.I.P.S.e.d. contribution, thus a fee of 750 €;

Price for two teams: 1.800,00 € (including 16 closing gala dinners and 10 fishing permits) for participation of two teams in the “YOUTH” championship, from which € 700 will be deducted as a F.I.P.S.e.d. contribution, thus a fee of 1.100 €;

Price for three teams: 2.500,00 € (including 24 closing gala dinners and 15 fishing permits) for participation of three teams in the “YOUTH” championship, from which € 1,050 will be deducted as a F.I.P.S.e.d. contribution, thus a fee of 1.450 €.
