“I would like to know how many recorded thefts there have been of, or from, lorries and containers which were parked beside the A12 and A14 from January 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015.
Please supply an itemised list with date, location, details of what was stolen and value of items. Could you also please tell me if there were any arrests in relation to the offences and their status - e.g. charged, cautioned, on bail, NFA'd.”

Suffolk Constabulary has considered your request for information and our response is below.
This response is correct as of 16 April 2015
A search was completed of the Crime Information System (CIS), for all offences, which concerned the theft from a lorry or container, under the ‘Theft from Motor Vehicle’ offence, which were parked on the A12 or A14 roads.
The following information provides the data by date of offence, location, property description and estimated value.
Please note that all of these offences have a disposal of ‘Undetected’.
Information regarding property values is collected as a part of a criminal investigation. The values specified are only meant as an approximate guide and are for Police purposes only.
Police forces in the United Kingdom are routinely required to provide crime statistics to government bodies and the recording criteria is set nationally.
