Llorente ** RESUMEN En el presente trabajo se realiza un estudio taxonómico y faunístico de la superfami- lia Grylloidea de España, incluyendo las islas Baleares y Canarias. Se examinan las 60 especies y subespecies que se han encontrado hasta ahora en este país, siendo seis de ellas nuevas para la ciencia: Petaloptila (P.) fermini, P. (P.) isabelae, P. (Zapetaloptila) venosa, P. (Z.) barrancoi, Paramogoplistes dentatus sp. n. y Grylloderes orlovskajae adventicius subsp. n.; asimismo se crean dos nuevos subgéneros Italoptila y Zapetaloptila. Se establece una sinonimia correcta del género Grylloderes Bolívar, 1894 (= Platy- gryllus Chopard, 1961, syn. dist. ), así como siete sinonimias específicas: Gryllomorpha (G.) dalmatina (Ocskay, 1832) (= Gryllomorpha dalmatina strumae Andreeva, 1982, syn. n.), Petaloptila (P.) aliena (Brunner-Wattenwyl, 1882) (= Discoptila eitschbergeri Harz, 1976, syn. n.), Acheta hispanicus Rambur, 1839 (= Gryllus erythrospilus Walker, 1869, syn. n., Gryllus hispanicus var. fusculus Bolívar, 1927, syn. n.), Eumodicogryllus bordigalensis (Latreille, 1802) (= Gryllodes ferdinandi Bolívar, 1899, syn. n., Gryllus chinensis var intermedia Bolívar, 1927, syn. n.), Eugryllodes pipiens (Dufour, 1820) (= Gryllodes pipiens var. provincialis Azam, 1901, syn. n.), y además cinco estatus nuevos y una combinación nueva. Se citan por primera vez para la Península Ibérica tres especies [Eumodicogryllus theryi (Chopard, 1943), Sciobia natalia Gorochov, 1985 y Oecanthus dulcisonans Gorochov, 1993], las dos primeras de las cuales, lo son también para Europa; para la España peninsular una (Svercus p. palmetorum Krauss, 1902) y tres para las islas Canarias [Natula averni (Costa, 1855), comb. -

The article presents data on a thriving population of the southern cricket Eumodicogryllus bordigalensis discovered in Upper Silesia. In 2018-2019, ca 450 individuals were recorded during 36 surveys at 20 sites (13 UTM squares), situated mainly on slag heaps. Male chirping activity, enabling the species to be detected, lasts over 4 months, from mid-May to mid-September. Key words: orthopterans, expansion, slag heap, faunistics, distribution. WSTĘP Świerszcz południowy Eumodicogryllus bordigalensis (LATREILLE, 1804) jest jednym z siedmiu gatunków należących do rodziny świerszczy Gryllidae LAICHARTING, 1781, występujących w Polsce (LIANA 2007, BRODACKI 2018). Gatunek został wykazany z Polski na podstawie jednej samicy odłowionej w Krzyżanowicach Dolnych koło Pińczowa w roku 1952 i oznaczonej początkowo jako Melanogryllus desertus (PALLAS, 1771) (LIANA 1975). Z uwagi na brak ponownych obserwacji uznano go za gatunek wymarły (LIANA 2002). Ostatnio, po długim okresie nieobecności gatunek został ponownie stwierdzony w granicach Polski (BRODACki 2016, 2018, LIANA & WAWER 2019). MATERIAŁ I METODY W okresie od sierpnia 2018 roku do września 2019 roku prowadzono obserwacje na wytypowanych potencjalnych stanowiskach świerszcza południowego, głównie na hałdach kopalnianych. Podczas kontroli, wykonanych w większości przez drugiego z autorów, prowadzono nasłuchy strydulujących samców, których celem było wykrycie gatunku. -

The Orthoptera fauna of Romania is represented by 182 species, 94 belonging to the Ensifera suborder and 88 species belonging to the Caelifera suborder. Four of these species are each represented by two subspecies (Isophya modesta modesta, I. m. longicaudata, Platycleis albopunctata albopuctata, P. a. grisea, Tetrix bipunctata bipunctata, T. b. kraussi, Miramella ebneri ebneri and M. e. carpathica); also, the presence of a interspecific hybrid (Chorthippus albomarginatus×oschei) in the North-eastern part of the country was very interesting to find. Nine species are endemic to Romania and represent important values that should be protected: Isophya dobrogensis, I. harzi, Callimenus montandoni, Odontopodisma carpathica, O. acuminata, O. montana, Zubovskya banatica, Podismopsis transsylvanica and Chorthippus acroleucus. Résumé. La faune d’Orthoptères de Roumanie est représentée par 182 espèces, dont 94 appartiennent au Sous-Ordre des Ensifera et 88 au Sous-Ordre des Caelifera. Quatre de ces espèces sont représentées chacune par deux sous-espèces (Isophya modesta modesta, I. m. longicaudata, Platycleis albopunctata albopunctata, P. a. grisea, Tetrix bipunctata bipunctata, T. b. kraussi, Miramella ebneri ebneri et M. e. carpathica); on a trouvé aussi un intéressant hybride interspécifique (Chorthippus albomarginatus X oschei) dans le Nord-Ouest du pays. Neuf espèces sont endémiques en Roumanie, représentant des valeurs importantes qui doivent être préservées: Isophya dobrogensis, I. harzi, Callimenus montandoni, Odontopodisma carpathica, O. acuminata, O. montana, Zubovskya banatica, Podismopsis transsylvanica et Chorthippus acroleucus. -

Department of Zoology, Hazara During inspection 1402 species of grasshoppers and Locusts were collected from different localities in University, Mansehra, Pakistan Hazara region. Collected specimens of Acrididae family were identified and sorted out into 73 species pertaining to 11 sub-families and 38 genera, has been enlisted to othopterean fauna of this region. Beside this it was noted that the members of subfamily family Acridinae was found to be most abundant with 20.82%, followed by Oedipodinae, Gomphocerinae and Oxyinae with 17.61%, 17.47% and 14.40% respectively. The progeny of a mating pair, collected 7th June 2000, were ex- clusively macropterous in the adult stage. Several of these individuals demon- strated their capacity of flight, suggesting an ability to disperse. Apart from a few specimens, all underuvent autotomy of their hind wings 3 to 5 weeks after adult moult. These specimens then differed in no way from their parents. The present paper draws attention to the pronounced polymorphism in this species and the danger of misinterpreting individuals with missing hind wings. Zusammenfassung Seit den 1990er Jahren sind Vorkommen von Eumodicogryllus bordrgalensls (LATRETLLE, [1804]) auf Eisenbahngeldnden im Norden von Basel bekannt (BTRRER & CoRAy, 2000). Mit Hilfe eines am 7. Juni 2000 erbeuteten Pdrchens wurde eine Zucht aufgebaut, in deren Folge ausschlieRlich makroptere lmagines erschienen. Mehrere dieser Exemplare lieBen Anzeichen eines Ausbreitungsver- haltens mit Demonstration ihrer FlugtLichtigkeit erkennen, hatten aber, von Ein- zelfdllen abgesehen, spdtestens 3-5 Wochen nach der lmaginalhdutung eine Autotomie ihrer HinterflUgel vollzogen, wodurch sie sich in nichts mehr von ihren Eltern unterschieden. -

We propose the first phylogenetic hypothesis for the evolu- tion of crickets sensu lato, based on analysis of 205 species, representing 88% of the subfamilies and 71% tribes currently listed in the database Orthoptera Species File (OSF). We reconstructed parsimony, maximum likelihood and Bayesian phylogenies using fragments of 18S, 28SA, 28SD, H3, 12S, 16S, and cytb (~3600 bp). Our results support the monophyly of the cricket clade, and its subdivision into two clades: mole crickets and ant-loving crickets on the one hand, and all the other crickets on the other (i.e. crickets sensu stricto). Crickets sensu stricto form seven monophyletic clades, which support part of the OSF fami- lies, “subfamily groups”, or subfamilies: the mole crickets (OSF Gryllotalpidae), the scaly crickets (OSF Mogoplistidae), and the true crickets (OSF Gryllidae) are recovered as monophyletic. -

Se pone de manifiesto la especifi- cidad de la estructura de la papila copulatriz y de su mayor o menor grado de esclerotización en las diferentes especies. Gynopygia of Iberian crickets (Orthoptera: Gryllidae and Myrmecophilidae) Abstract: The female genitalia of 20 species of crickets are presented and described. Genital morphology is compared for the five subfamilies of Gryllidae in the Iberian Peninsula and for one species of Myrmecophilidae. The structure of the papilla copulatrix and its higher or lower degree of sclerotisation are shown to be species-specific characters. Introducción La utilización de la genitalia como carácter taxonómico cavernícolas, si bien no indican variaciones a nivel específi- válido para la identificación de especies es generalizada en co.
