ANAHEIM COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

Since 1984, the Anaheim Community Foundation (ACF) has enriched the lives of Anaheim residents with its mission to build community through people, partnerships and pride.

ACF assists in a multitude of areas, including:

 Championing community needs and improved outcomes  Building the capacity of nonprofits through grants and collaboration  Promoting philanthropy and volunteerism  Providing community support, from youth program scholarships to senior emergency assistance

During Fiscal Year 2018-2019, the Anaheim Community Foundation continued to provide the means for people, organizations, and corporations in “Building Community through people, partnerships, and pride” in Anaheim. Under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors from the Anaheim civic and business communities, the Foundation linked citizens who wanted to give with neighbors who are in need of assistance, thereby enriching the community’s charitable spirit. Since its 1984 incorporation, the Foundation has continued to expand and provide leadership to meet community needs.

The Anaheim Community Foundation Board of Directors continued to offer a well-managed non-profit organization that acts as a community vehicle for accepting donations of property, money, or securities from individuals, organizations, and corporations. All contributions are returned to the community.

Managing assets averaging $1.5 million this fiscal year, the Foundation received $675,000 in donations and provided $335,000 in support to enhance programs and services that met human needs and aided local groups.
