Fichman Reaches Nottingham Quarters Sharon Fichman (Toronto, ON) defeated American Coco Vandeweghe 6-3, 7- 6(4) on Wednesday to advance to the quarter-finals at the $75,000 Aegon Trophy, a joint ATP men’s and ITF women’s grass court challenger in Nottingham, England. In the quarter-finals on Friday, Fichman will face fellow alumna Irina Falconi of the United States who knocked out Eugenie Bouchard (Westmount, QC) 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 in the second round. Fichman and Dabrowski advanced to the doubles semifinals with a 4-6, 6-4, 10-4 win over Shelby Rogers and Olivia Rogowska.
