Currently, their seven grandchildren are all involved in Scouting — having earned the Boy Scout Eagle rank or Girl Scout Silver Award, or working towards them . Bonnie’s journey with Scouting started in second grade, when she became the first Brownie in St . Francis Borgia Grade School by joining the public school Brownie troop . She stayed with the troop through eighth grade . Bonnie was Buzz’s Cub Scout den mother and Jeanna’s Brownie and Girl L. B. & Bonnie Eckelkamp Scout leader . St .
