Borma Wachs’ story starts in 1928 by an ongoing passion for wood. Mr ANTON BRAND founded in Dortmund (Germany) the first specialized family owned company, which is now in its fourth generation. Since that time, many experiences have followed and improved the growth of the company, supported by Ing. Theodor Kaus’ efforts. Every market challenge was a chance to empower customer service team with the intelligence to better meet the customer needs, to increase knowledge and high quality technologies. To create a combination of technology and creativity, the know- how and passion were transferred to Italy by Franco Bortoluzzi, who, as an Italian emigrated to Germany, accepted with enthusiasm and determination the challenge of father-in-law Theodor Kaus, founding in 1978 in Jesolo, near Venice, company Borma Wachs. At first fully committed as specialist in the TOUCH UP/WOOD COSMETIC area but rapidly, by market demand,the range get improved wth RESTORATION and consequently with GILDING specialties. Being these materials traditionally natural, it became normal from the market side to ask Borma for ECO_FRIENDLY solutions and therefore nowadays the OILS range of Borma is one of the most technologically complete offering TRADITIONAL HYBRID oil finishing solutions with a very low VOC emission, as WATERBORNE oil mixtures as fully VOC FREE Technologies,(ZERO EMISSION), all certified in BIOTECH by Baubiologie Institut Rosenheim IBR Germany.
