Don’t worry though, it’s a dry heat and every desert has a watering hole to cool off, get a drink and see who’s in town. The watering hole will be open on Sunday night April 14th 2019. The herds will be gathering at Rustler Rooste in the Crystal Barn from 6-10 pm. Like the Ungulates in our collections, we will be sharing the Rustlers Rooste with our Avian colleagues, they will be perching on the patio. There will be mixed species areas available for socializing, but we hope that the Ungulates gathering at the watering hole will only eat the nutrition approved ungulate appetizers and not get into the bird diets. Each event is donation based to support their respective TAG’s. If you want to enjoy the bird diets, please feel free to donate to the ASAG Wine and Cheese event in addition to the Watering Hole event. A $10.00 donation from our many hooves, one herd lovers will help support the AZA Ungulate TAG’s mission. The watering hole will have a cash bar so bring some money to buy yourself and your new friends a drink, kick up your hooves, and enjoy a carnivore free evening. The Rustler’s Rooste is adjacent to the Arizona Grand Resort and Spa and can be reached within a short 10-minute walk .
