Chef Rich loves to travel the world always trying the many different cuisines he encounters, learning about local specialties, spices and wines. His favorite cuisine is Mediterranean and his healthy and delicious recipes are being incorporated into the Club’s menus for all to enjoy. After graduating from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America (Hyde Park, NY), Chef Rich completed his B.S. in Hospitality Management at Florida International University. He remained in South Florida gaining more knowledge and hands-on experience at several local country clubs, hotels and catering companies, soon becoming one of the youngest executive chefs in the region. Chef Rich’s most satisfying culinary experience came from his 23 years at Westview Country Club in , the club known for the finest food and most extravagant parties held in South Florida, where he excelled in baking several hundred delicious soufflés at a time and always to perfection. It is immediately recognizable and uniquely Fort Lauderdale, thanks to the bold, sophisticated, and now timeless design of Richard F. Humble. t seems that most people have some type of hobby. Tricia Rutsis was a successful public relations consultant working with clients throughout South Florida who also painted in her free time. However, as her love of painting grew, she wanted to do it somewhere other than her little home studio where she was alone with her canvas and palette.
