FOOD INSECURITY

How would you feel if you didn’t know where your next meal was coming from… Or even when? Probably not so good, right?

There are many individuals and families in Ringwood and surrounding towns that are experiencing food insecurity right now! Or perhaps utility insecurity - medical insecurity - transportation insecurity - housing insecurity - and the list goes on. How will the bills be paid? Can I stay in my house?

You can help. Support the Ringwood Hunger Walk on November 5th at Shepherd. All proceeds from the money you collected in pledges go to the Center For Food Action in Ringwood which provides direct food relief, homelessness prevention, utility and medical assistance, and advocacy and referral services to thoroughly vetted clients in local towns.

There are pledge envelopes and information flyers at the doors of the church. Please take one and ask family and friends to sponsor you on the Walk. Even better ask them to walk too.

Bring the envelope with you on Nov. 5 to Shepherd Lake and join other like-minded individuals walking to stop hunger and homelessness. All proceeds are distributed to vetted clients in the Ringwood Area.
